guess i better go smoke up. i'm not allowed to get cancer until i see evidence that i'll get it, right?

We've been using it for decades and there's no evidence
This is despite several acters trying very hard to conjure up evidence (i.e. the EU wanting to justify their protectionist ban to stop beef imports from USA, Australia, Brazil).

There's simply no evidence. Children go through puberty earlier in part due to rising obesity, not because of hormones. Obesity is rising throughout the world because people are consuming too much high calorie low nutrition food and living a sedentary life style, not because of GMOs or hormones.

          cigarettes were healthy once
it might not actually be unhealthy but instead of actual normal muscle you're going to eat roided up watery useless muscle. It's choosing between eating a natural athlete muscle or some roided out loser muscle
          which would you rather eat
we'd all pick the natural athlete because deep down we feel deeply uncomfortable with the roided out loser, we deep down know there's something incredibly wrong with that food
no scientific study funded by the government is going to convince me that eating roided out watery beef is equally as good as nornal beef. Even if it's technically not unhealthy. I'm happy the EU has banned hormones. You're also not allowed to use antibiotics preventatively. GMO is also banned 🙂

            Not necessarily
You can’t prove it has literally 0 difference. You can prove that it has such little difference it isn’t worth considering, which is what negligible means.

If you’re actually concerned about hormones, stop eating dairy (which has far more despite no hormones being implanted into dairy cows). Also several plant products have significantly more

It makes meat cheaper, which is a good thing. Note that raw meat is cheaper in the USA than western Europe despite the overall cost of living being higher in the USA.
The being scared of hormones is a scare tactic that works against dumb people who think big words are scary (also see MSG, GMO, or people freaking out that the chemical name for Vitamin D is listed as an ingredient in food).

People think these big words are the health problems when in reality the real problem is people simply eating high calorie low nutrition foods. Nothing in the meat section is causing health issues (unless people are eating excess red meat I guess), it’s people buying packaged products from the aisles that is the issue
