Oh, sansho pepper is good too but really just use a tiny amount. Strong stuff that has a numbing effect for some reason.

crack an egg in when finished, along with 2 slices of american cheese and mix until the broth is creamy. add sriracha or hot sauce and green onion.

definitely egg but I like to invert the method. Beat an egg in a bowl and stir in almost boiling hot ramen. You won't cook the egg as much.

Sesame oil is another great addition, preferably together with the egg.

I made this when my wife was out of town and I was too drunk to go to the store, so I used whatever I had on hand.

Get water going for the noodles. Sautee shallots, ginger, garlic, and red bell pepper. Add a splash of fish sauce, worcesteshire, sriracha, a little bit of the seasoning packet, red pepper flakes, and a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter. Toss cooked noodles in pan to coat.

I threw an egg in the water with the noodles to soft boil it and topped it with sliced green onions and toasted chopped peanuts. Turned out really well.

    season the water.
boil chopped celery and onion in the seasoned water.
    cook ramen as normal.
stir in a bit of hot sauce after you finish your normal ramen cooking routine.
