There's lots of reasons not to shop at Walmart. The main one being it isn't cheaper at all. Your local national chain store will be cheaper and any actual poor people grocery store will be much cheaper. Also Walmart is ALWAYS crowded and no longer open 24/7. But their wonderbread is the exact same wonderbread as anywhere else. So in conclusion you are a moron who can't evaluate situations clearly, but you are making a good decision nonetheless to stop grocery shopping at Walmart.
>The main one being it isn't cheaper at all.
no?? Their junk food is by far cheaper than anywhere else. Only their real food is more expensive
Walmart is way fucking cheaper than loblaws for the exact same product
Go to food basics or no frills like the rest of your poorfag brethren
Food basics aisles are way too narrow.
>Your local national chain store
mate what
>Your local national chain store will be cheaper
not around here, Publix is only to be shopped at when their sales hit
its not meant for white people you fucking dumbass what are you doing
Walmart bread is absolute bottom of the fucking barrel. What are you doing? You go to walmart to buy canned goods and stare at the 400lb scooter-riders in wizard's robes and that's it.
>i don't know how people shop here
they don't typically buy the green bread
i've never had an issue with mold from walmart
at one point i had a loaf of bread in the fridge for i think at least two months and it wasn't moldy
honestly more concerning that it hadn't gotten any mold
haven't gotten bread from walmart in a while though, winco is cheaper
>i've never had an issue with mold from walmart
Not too long ago I saw some pre-packaged pizza crusts at walmart, moldy in the bag on the shelf.
Fellow Winchad
If I see a cooking thread and there's a single "Great Value" product in the OP image I wont even open the thread. Garbage food for garbage people.
It's literally the name brand stuff that they purchase in bulk. Great Value cereal is literally from either Post or Kellogg's.
Same with store brand cereal but here's a test for you. Buy a box of Kellogg's Corn Flakes and a box of the store brand corn flakes. Pour a bowl of each. I can tell you what you're going to find: the Kellogg's flakes are larger, most uniform in thickness and shape. The store brand flakes will be smaller, often noticeably broken, and far more bits and crumbs at the bottom of the bag. Kellogg's does indeed make both, but they grade their cereal, with the best of the production line going into their own boxes and the lower grade going into store brand or food service boxes. This goes for many of the products you can buy in a store brand, though not all. There are companies that specialize in private label products and some stores even have their own facilities to make many of their own store brand products. But what you almost never get is the exact same product offered in a major brand and the store brand. You just have to try each and see if you're ok with the difference. If you're going to crunch the corn flakes in your mouth, do you care that the flakes are smaller and have thick spots?
You're spoiled out of the bag. Great Value products are good, I like the honey BBQ sauce. Great for marinating chicken!
>The bread is fucking spoiled out of the bag
uh hate to break it to you but the bread is restocked daily
Walmart stocks ready-dough which is a great compromise between scratch made bread and store made bread. It's also really cheap compared to any fresh bread baked by the store.
never seen that before and i was a department manager there
