I’ve started eating healthier and have oatmeal for breakfast everyday. My recipe goes:
1 cup of oatmeal
2 cups of whole milk
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
Vanilla
Salt

The problem is that oatmeal just doesn’t taste good, and I feel like I’m going to go back to unhealthy sugary cereals and donuts and stuff. Suggestions?

          sorry, let me elaborate, it's fine because it's just oatmeal. it's not like you're eating a bowl full of it. and then you get more from it than simply just the sugar; in terms of taste, texture and health.

    Just put a spoon of peanut butter and maybe some raisins/banana in it instead of all that butter and sugar and stuff, also that's twice as much oatmeal as any human being needs to feel full until lunch time, which means you can cut your whole milk intake by half

    thats a ton of calories. just buy the great value walmart brand instant oatmeal 20-packet boxes, its actually better price per weight than any of the big raw oatmeal tubes. get the apple cinnamon or maple brown sugar, put two packets together in a bowl and throw a spoonful of cocoa powder in. you dont need milk or butter or excess sugar.
