Have you ever tried a spoonful of sand or a silica packet from a beef jerky bag? Those are the same dryness level as a popeye’s biscuit

You have never had a real biscuit if you are so easily impressed. Popeyes biscuits are bad even by fast food standards.

I have and Popeyes still holds up above them all, they're just too fricking good.

Church's biscuits are always hard and I don't really like the honey they put on them

        Anonymous

True-ish. They're best when freshly done and since some locations don't bother pumping them out continuously because they're not busy enough to warrant doing so, it's entirely possible that you got one that wasn't as fresh as it could have been.

Church's biscuits are better than Popeyes. Popeyes everything else is better than Church's, tho

should have said that FRESH Church's biscuits are better than Popeyes biscuits. Never reheated Church's biscuits but Popeyes ones I just wrap in wet kitchen paper and nuke a few seconds and there good again. Decent breakfast with some jam

When I say fries I mean fries

Church's chicken has a honey glazed biscuit that's better. No biscuit is going to win an award without good sausage gravy, though. So, I'll reserve judgement for "best" biscuit. When I make them at home, I prefer "drop biscuits" for the job, because they get the bumpy surface browned.

I've just been searching for an ingredients list, and the USDA, foodFacts and even Popeyes own website says they are 260 kCals/ per biscuit.
