Jollibee is like everything else filipino- a miscegenated slurry of the various cultures that have conquered them over the years, processed into a vaguely palatable product for the lowest rungs of society and championed as a mainstay of filipino "culture" out of a desperate craving for some semblance of national pride. In truth, it's little more than lipstick on a pig- or lipstick on pagpag, as the case may be.

All the filipinos I've known were skinnyfat and ate nothing but fast food and instant noodles (bowls, always the bowls). They especially love fried chicken. They only ate traditional shit during holiday get togethers.

I had one in Barcelona actually. I wouldn't normally eat fast food on holiday, unless drunk, but I saw it and wanted to try it due to the memes. The fried chicken was actually pretty good but the rest of the stuff on the menu was or looked pretty foul. Also the place was dirty and chaotic af. Would not go back if they opened up here. Popeye's opened it's first branch in my cunt recently. Tried a Hispanicy chicken burger and it was okay but nothing special and not exactly cheap either. A burger, fried and drink was 10.99 or something. Can any anon tell me is it worth trying their fried chicken or tendies? I'd like a place with solid fried chicken and tendies as KFC is generally garbage and a lot of the paki shops near me that do fried chicken are really hit and miss and you always run the risk of food poisoning...

Popeyes is definitely the best but always opt for Hispanicy

Popeyes stands out with their Hispanicy fried chicken; their gravy for the mash has some kind of creole or cajun seasoning (whatever the fuck it is, there's definitely cumin). I like it, but that sort of thing is too rich for me these days.

Thanks anons next time I've got a craving for fried chicky I'll be sure to check it out

I thought the place was disgusting because I am used to real southern fried chicken but they had these mango (I think mango) fried pies that were absolutely outstanding.
