10 years ago if you made $20 dollars out of college that was considered a good first step. Now morons who bag groceries are making that much.

      Prices have doubled since 2020.

These are both factually incorrect, trivial to check and could only be posted by the most shrill doomer children. It's actually pathetic.

      >outing yourself as a moronic boomer
So if Trump were president he would have signed some legislation forcing fast food companies to lower prices right?

He would’ve drilled more oil so that we wouldn’t have had inflation in the first place

When I was a kid. Whoppers would go on sale for $1.
I only remember that because my mom rarely ate fast food, but she'd go to Burger King if the Whopper was on sale.

McD's had .29 hamburgers once a week. People would buy sacks of them. some would freeze them and reheat, others would buy them as treats for their pet, had a few that fed them to pigs because it was cheaper to supplement than using corn.

according to CPI, prices have only doubled since 1996, 28 years ago. inflation alone does not explain slop-poverty

That's not even that far back. Heck, even the 49 cent crunchy taco wasn't that far back.
But yes, prices way back when were less. Five and dime stores were called that because things were a nickel or a dime. Things get more expensive as more people have more money, almost as if demand drives cost.

your fraudulent "market principles" don't account for deliberate price-gouging which is what's happening right now

I stopped going to burger king in 2007 or so when the whopper by itself went over $4.
