Can you provide some source to support this claim?
I fricking died from kidney failure in 2018, and somehow got off of dialysis (which is truly miraculous, it’s very rare to get off of that).
But, you might be from the same camp that cries about kratom, which does nothing to the kidneys or liver, otherwise I would be quite fricked.
I drink 35g several times per day and check in with my doctors, I’m healthy as a motherfricker.

              booOOoOOoOOoo, anon.
I was dead for an undetermined period of time (longer than should be possible though), gf found me blue on the ground and called an ambo.
Thanks to some very ambitious EMTs who broke all my ribs administering CPR I was able to survive, but only after spending several weeks in a very questionable coma.
I am extremely fortunate to not only be alive, but also to be walking, talking, and thinking normally.
I’ve been told I am some sort of medical anomaly.
There is nothing on the other side. It felt like one long blink.
A couple weeks ago I was watching a video of some kid that dropped dead from a brain aneurysm and was resuscitated, and he said the exact same shit.
After saying that for years, it gave me chills/ a weird kind of excitement to hear that I’m not alone in my experience.

kratom is hepactotoxic, the fact you don't have hepatitis YET doesn't disprove that

Kratom has been linked to acute liver injury in rare cases, but if that was going to happen to me it would’ve happened already.
“Chronic use of kratom recreationally has been associated with rare instances of acute liver injury. The onset of injury is usually within 1 to 8 weeks of starting regular use of kratom powder or tablets, with symptoms of fatigue, nausea, pruritus and dark urine followed by jaundice.”

what was dying like? Did you meet any of the people you wanted to?

If you see the post- it was like one long blink.
                It was peaceful, but nothing.
I’m not trying to be edgy when I say that, it really was nothing.
No bright light to wander towards.
Just serene blackness, and there were no sounds but I was somehow aware that I hadn’t gone deaf or blind.
                Just one long peaceful blink.
I often think about it when I’m trying to fall asleep.
A lot of the religious people I talk to are upsetti spaghetti that there wasn’t any sort of divine intervention, but I’m content in knowing that peace awaits me when I leave this realm.

Were you "aware" at the time? Or was it more like waking up when you're in that half-way between awake and asleep, where you only realize you were falling asleep after you fully wake up, this is interesting sorry that you died

The way you described it is actually pretty on the head. I wasn’t sentient forced to endure it second for second as my body laid there, but when I came to, my experience/memory was what I’ve described.
Kind of like when you wake from a dream.
And no need to be sorry, homie.
It was a unique experience and I’m happy to answer questions.

I’m pretty convinced I just slipped into the nothingness that is the afterlife, and when medicine saved me I was brought back and left with a memory of what it was.
Not that I necessarily existed in some alternate state of being, I think that I was actually nothing (or hinging on nothing) for a brief moment, and I somehow have a memory of it because I was brought back.
In a weird way, now I don’t really fear death, because that experience was breddy comfy and I’m keen that none of my stresses will follow me.

Can anyone explain to me what kava feels like?
I enjoy kratom a good bit and am curious about it.
Not that it’s indicative of anything truly bad but everyone I know that’s gone to a kava bar has thrown up in the parking lot.
I’m pretty sure they have to have someone who’s job is just to rinse that stuff off the lot.

unironically I have learned that kava does nothing through reading this thread.
so moving forward, i will not pay kava a lick of attention.
the world of kava has lost at least one interested party via this stupid thread, and we get to hear neat tidbits about an anon’s journey to the other side.
there’s a silver lining for you, anon 🙂
