Anyone ever tried Lee Kum Kee? It's a Hong Kong company that manufactures Asian sauces like Oyster sauce, Hoisin, Chili Oil, Soy sauce. If you are an asian should have these in your kitchen.

shut the frick up
NO U
Lee kum kee is the bottom of the barrel for Asian sauces
No it's not there's way worse
>the bottom of the barrel for Asian sauces
what is La Choy
their oyster sauce is the #1 brand use in real Asian restaurants. I can't speak for the other shit, but nothing beat it in that
Depends on what you're buying it for.
Their actual soy sauce is inferior to the premium brands (and I mean premium not specialty, brands like Wadakan, Kim Lan no additive and Ichibiki) but not bad by any means, their chili oil is inferior compared to the classic laoganma and that encapsulates most of their standard lineup - above average but falls short of the truly premium territory.
As for "you should have oyster sauce, hoisin sauce and chili oil in your kitchen if you're asian", it's horseshit.
their chirri oil is way better than Lowgrandma
They're decent and make most stuff you'd want although you're usually better off buying most of the stuff they make from a company that specializes in it. i.e. Pearl River Bridge soy sauce is better, Laoganma makes better chili crisp, etc.
Based Pearl River Bridge enjoyer
I do like their oyster sauce. A heads up for anyone buying it: they sell a few different kinds. The one sold under the Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand label (Panda Brand is their line of stuff made to be sold in American grocery stores) is not as good.
The best one to buy is their Premium Oyster Sauce like the one in the pic. It's the only one of their oyster sauces that has oyster extracts as the main ingredient.
They make quality sauce.
I like RKK. Best chirri oil out there and they also have a chirri garlic paste that's amazing in soups or sauces. Also their premium soy is really nice.
>eat my kum
No thank you, honker gudao sorcerer.
I do not wish to get tapeworms.
they're good but i usually just buy Pearl River Bridge out of habit
I'm not an asian; does that mean I shouldn't buy them?
Their srirarcha is better than the original. Its a little sweet and smoky and not as Hispanicy
I bought their hoisin sauce once and it was dogshit. I through the whole thing away and I'm not the type of person to waste food. I'll never buy this brand again.
>soy sauce with added sugar
Their product is cheap for a good reason. I'm sure it's considered top notch among hk-ers living in their closet sized domiciles and communal bathrooms.

>If you are an asian should
for me, it's Koon Yick Wah Kee.
Great on dumplings.
it's so fucking hard to find a proper chirri sauce that isn't sweet, fishy, or salty as hell. KYWK is the perfect balance, not sweet at all, not too salty, almost bitter with rich chilli flavour.
yep goes great with dumplings but also it's the perfect sauce for noodle soups and mi goreng. mi goreng, which is already fairly sweet by itself and doesn't taste nice with MORE sweet sauce added, is elevated to 11 with KYWK.
I've tried a bunch of sauces from them. Chili garlic, sweet soy sauce, oyster.
for me its black bean sauce
