This. Some are turned off,but also it's popular for a reason. No different than olives and certainly not anchovies. It's just something thar you either like or don't.

As for the myth of Italians hating it, I do not see that to be the case. I worked in a first generation Italian food store and they would put pineapple on pizzas, family from overseas would never bat an eye. They are already used to figs or grapes on pizza so it's not nearly as weird as the pepperoni purists try to make it seem.

With ham or bacon and barbecue sauce it’s a nice sweet and salty mix,I don’t like it outside of that though.

      yes

      this anon knows
bbq chicken pineapple pizza with bacon and cheddar and jalapaenos is just mm mm fingerlinkin good

when i get the dominos 2 for 6.99 each deal, one of em is always a pineapple bacon. their BBQ sauce is too sweet though.
i am SUPER lonely, and eating horrible food is my brain's only source of dopamine.

Juicy Sweet + Ham = good
The pizza is irrelevant, its merely a vessel for delivery ham + pineapple combo

Yes, it’s acidic and tart and lends a new dimension of flavour to pizza, a twist on Sweet and Savoury palettes.

pineapple with ham pairs so fricking well with cheese and tomata sauce. it absolutely needs to be allowed on pizza and frankly needs to be promoted

yes. people that hate hawaiian pizza are always the same kind of people that hate tomatoes, chocolate mint, and beans in chili. they are pick eater redditors

Tomato is a fruit so yeah, adding more fruits is fine. Olives also a fruit. There's really no argument against this except muppets who lived a sheltered life and never experienced it before.

      This.

What kind of fricking mutant hates chocolate and mint?

Probably some kind of gay that freaks out over Andes mints on his pillow in a hotel.
Maybe some Frenchie that wants to rape chambermaids in NYC, like DSK then try to claim diplomatic immunity.

Pizza is one of the rare culinary subjects on which I agree with the Americans: any old shit belongs on a pizza.

Too rich for me. I can't handle a lot of flavor.

Yes, but too many places don't let the fruit drain and the pizza gets soggy.

There's no debate and who cares? If your paying for it get what you like, anyone else is a hanger on, they can get their own pizza at the kids table.

This entire thread is full of tastlets. Enjoy not knowing what good, authentic pizza is, I suppose.

Funny italians make big scenes because of pineapple on pizza when there are much worse abominations like bbq sauce

I'm not always in the mood for it but pineapple on pizza is great. However ham is fricking boring bland shit and I don't get why people pair them together. Literally any other meat is better and still does well with pineapple.

I was a bit annoyed today when they forgot the pineapple on the pizza but I didn't complain because it was still pizza and still quite good 🙂
