This is the truth. I used to eat at Five Guys way more than I'd like to admit. The quality was in constant decline, but it was a slow decline that was barely noticeable. Around the time when delivery apps really started to take off quality went into freefall. My assumption is that the way Five Guys operates isn't equipped to handle the increase in load delivery apps put on them, and as a result the quality suffered. I finally stopped eating there after I got a burger that looked and tasted exactly like a McDonald's quarter pounder. At that moment I realized the Five Guys I once knew was gone. I don't know how to describe it, but Five Guys burgers used to have this distinct, unique taste that in my mind that put them above typical fast food slop. Whatever that taste was, it's totally gone now. You're essentially paying a premium for McDonalds if you're still going to Five Guys now.
The silver lining to fast food prices going up is that some people may finally realize they can make their own better tasting burgers at a fraction of the price.
There is literally no point in getting any of their burgers now because you can get a better quality burger from a local joint for similar pricing now.

you can get a burger twice as big with all fresh ingredients for cheaper in a local restaurant
Why don't you guys just get the neuralink McDonald's app? I usually get at least 25% off and the only inconvienance is a notification on my retinal synapse a couple times a day
