McDonalds US
>new limited time offer, only on the App: the Zendaya meal with the same shit already on the menu but with a new sauce packet
McDonalds everywhere else:
>chili cheese bites, loaded fries, shrimp patties, wraps, etc etc
Why do we get shafted like this, bros?
Market size.
break it up then. Didn't they used to do this? All kinds of promotions and special items were region exclusive back in the day.
but what about equality then friend?
They can make this homosexual shit but they can't give me my steak bagel back? God I can't stop seething its been 2 years.
Same. I also miss being able to ghetto-rig an eggs bennedict by getting a egg mcmuffin with the fake steak bagel hollindaise sauce.
its back
Where
>its back
Not according to their website:
https://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/full-menu/breakfast.html
God dammit. I was hoping anon was telling the truth and it was somewhere other than where I live and maybe JUST MAYBE it'll make it's way back to me.
I'm fricking heated rn bros ong fr fr
According to the youtube dude, it is. Stephen or w/e his name is.
As of 3 weeks ago.
"only for select markets"
"most of Ohio"
Shit looks kinda cash though, no?
Why do anons on Culinaly love lying about limited items being back at fast food chains when they're not? One of you homosexuals tricked me into thinking the Double Down came back to KFC.
I'll never eat there again until they bring back the southern chicken biscuit
Why? It was just a shittier version of the Chick-Fil-A one.
I tried that steak bagel because of you homosexuals. It's literally a hamburger patty covered in butter on a shitty bagel. That was a waste of money.
>OO EE OO I look just like Honey Holly
>McDonalds US
>US-centric menu
>McDonalds everywhere else:
>local market-centric menu
Yeah, who could ever deduce their byzantine machinations?
You telling me American's don't like wraps, loaded fries, and fried cheese bites?
There's nothing exotic about the shit in that Hungarian pic
>You telling me American's don't like wraps, loaded fries, and fried cheese bites?
Yes, that's what the evidence says. You know McDs used to have wraps right? But for some reason they stopped selling them. Why would a company that wants to make money stop offering a product? Because it doesn't make enough money.
Mega corporations aren't in it for money. They can safely run at a loss for decades. They exist only to control minds.
What does mcdonalds want me to think
To go to clown college, and that nobody can stop you.
Doo-doo do-do-do-do doo-doo-doo-doo.
They've failed.
The same thing that you do think.
That eating there everyday is acceptable
Cooking’s too hard
>They exist only to control minds.
lol I recognize that theater. I'm actually going to have dinner at the place next door in a couple hours.
>birds aren’t real
Neither is Reddit
By not selling wraps?
You believe that McD’s just ignores money-making opportunities because they hate money?
The American market has proved time and time again that it doesn’t want McDonald’s things beyond the core menu.
Arch deluxe? Lol no.
Chicken strips? Lol no.
Wraps? Lol no.
So there’s literally no point in investing in the supply chan of sending “new” ingredients to the bajillion American McDonald’s locations for shit that isn’t going to sell, unless it’s something simple like a “special” McNugget sauce.
>Wraps? Lol no.
This part surprises me.
Doesn't even seem like they need extras ingredients to make that one work, the Breakfast Burrito is a hit here
The type of people that want a wrap aren't the type of people that go to McDonalds. Lots of the items on McDonald's menu in other places could be successful , just at a different restaurant
McDonald's is literally one of the most efficiently managed franchises on the planet, if not the most. Every single thing they do has a ludicrous amount of statistical analysis behind it. If something is literally .5% underneath their projected margins for an area they don't do it. Even something as small as the amount of napkins people use is tallied.
This.
Anyone who thinks “lol they dum” is beyond moronic. Every decision of significance made at the corporate level is going to be done with an insane level of data-driven analysis based on existing metrics from their own sales data.
The celebrity meals are alright when they actually provide value and are cheaper than ordering stuff separately.
Meanwhile, the gimmick items abroad really are hit or miss. McDonalds Korea was selling Cherry Cola as a limited time offer and it was literally just normal coke with fricking cherry syrup sunk to the bottom of it. Just nasty as frick. Now they're doing the same but it's lemon. Honestly, after getting a few shitty specials, you stop going for them and just get shit you know you like.
One time I drank champagne and it tasted just like cherry cola.
That sounds awesome. I wish there cherry cola actually tasted like cherry cola.
The crazy thing is, you can just go to a mart and buy cherry cola. It's not even uncommon. And they're charging like over two USD for that shit.
under neon electric lights?
did you and lola frick
I down on my knees. (if you know what I mean)
Oh I know what you mean butter bean
McDonald's US is like coke, they're too big and conservative to make any sudden moves and every move they DO make is market tested for 6 years so they can never jump on any trend until years after it happened.
They also don't want to be take any risks because failed ventures means less profit at the end of the quarter and they're not really expanding anymore on account of being fricking EVERYWHERE, so they resorted to going "upscale" and raising prices for the same decades old shitty food.
And the management has to do this because their shareholders will literally sue them if they mess with their well managed slowly dying company.
Genuine question - if they're well managed and no longer expanding but can just make steady profits by selling the same popular items forever, what about that would make them slowly dying? A steady never ending huge income would be a success right? Ignoring the bit about shareholders refusing to let them do anything but go up, that is.
They're competing with companies with shareholder incentive to grow.
The short answer is that steady predictable income streams with no growth can and will become a downward trend as they become outmoded by newer restaurants eating into their market share and inflation taking what's left.
If your company isn't expanding forever, it's in decline and all American publicly traded companies become like this sooner or later.
LINE MUST GO UP
BETRAY THE LINE AND FACE THE WRATH OF SHAREHOLDERS
They have no reason to put in effort since they know that (americans) need their (processed industrial low quality food) no matter how much the price is raised. The (americans) will even take out ~~*microloans*~~ to get it from delivery apps!
>the Zendaya meal
>American crying he cant get enough variety of his trashfood.
fkin McHumans, I swear....
McDonald's changed their Big Mac recipe over here and now it is disgusting. Can I report them to the US branch that they are fricking up an iconic recipe?
it was always disgusting you're just now realizing it
bong here, I think yanks get it better as its way cheaper. Mozz sticks are like £4/$6 for 4 are way overpriced and are undercooked. Any promotional burger is guaranteed to be almost £6/$8 here too.
Whereas I see loads of comments here about people getting doubles for $1 for example. American breakfast looks way better too.
My country has neither the mcgriddle nor the mcrib. You don't know suffering.
Mcrib is trash
What the frick is a Zendaya?
>everywhere else
Is shit in italy, just 3-4 patties with beef or chicken with just different dressing, no shrimp, no chili cheese, just tendies and occasionally one or two limited time (wrap or again beef or chicken with different stuffing)
Lately they added cheddar bacon fries and mcdonalds started like 30 years ago here
And place is always LOADED with people
Also we never know what a Zendaya meal is since op is a bot
americans be like
>NOOO, YOU HAVE DIFFERENT SHIT moron CITY-17 FOOD? NOT FAIR!!!!
I still don't get the point of all these fast food apps.
Just going up to the counter or drive thru and ordering has been working just fine since the beginning.
