For me it's the $10 liter of 3 year old Scotch from Trader Joe's, and deenz. The best depressive alcoholic meal.

        >nice. how's the whisky?
Nothing special, but nothing offensive either. Once I've had a few I can pretty much convince myself it's just apple juice. I mainly drink it on the rocks or mixed with some sparkling water in a highball.

You realize that different States are able to make their own laws regarding licensing of liquor sales right?

And what federal law prohibits Kroger from selling vodka?

          >liquor is federally regulated you state sucking moron.
I am not sure who the moron is here, but obviously you haven't left your house very much. It is well known that a county can regulate sales within their own county, say to prohibit it within the grocery store, to not allow it on Sundays, or anything they want. The state government can make it where only their store collects the taxes and sales, like ABC in Virginia. In the bible belt, many counties prohibit beer and wine sales on Sundays. Big box stores like Costco or BJs have to sell alcohol in a separate store that allows you to shop without a membership. I have no idea if that's Federal or state mandated.

I can speak from personal experience this is untrue
          >CA: 6am - 2am liquor sales, all kinds of alcohol in grocery stores, no extra alcohol tax but high sales tax
          >WA: Same hours and also hard liquor in grocery stores, but absolutely absurd taxes (high as 50% for some bottles)
          >CO: 8am - midnight alcohol sales, beer and wine only in grocery stores (was only beer until last year), very low sales tax and no liquor tax

Mostly I'm upset about the hours, I work nights so by the time alcohol can be sold here I'm usually either in bed or going to bed soon.

There are so many antiquated and bizarre rules surrounding spirits in this country. It'd also the reason that so many liquor stores thrive on the borders of certain states like OK

                >It'd also the reason that so many liquor stores thrive on the borders of certain states like OK

I grew up in a county where the religious hypocrites managed to prevent the sale of any type of alcoholic beverage. So, if you had a store in the next county just over the line you basically had permission to print money.

As long as we're posting fascinating trivia I might as well throw in that here in NC forever we have had huge alcohol tax, but no sales tax on liquor. So some homosexual legislator stands up and says "I just found out we don't tax liquor. Do you hate God or something.". So now, on top of the gigantic alcohol tax we also pay sales tax. And God is very happy.

Have you tried checking the cash back section of their rewards card program online? Chance may be slim but in the cash back section (not the digital coupons) there’s a lot of different alcoholic beverages listed.

Bro have you ever tried seeing if a temp agency will place you? Main rule aside from looking professional when you go in is you cannot refuse the first assignment, otherwise they won’t contact you again.

If you’re drinking so often that you care about a $2 price increase, you have a problem.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but you’re already economically BTFOing idiots who drink at bars by drinking at home.
If you’re drinking a handle/ fifth of vodka often enough that you’re upsetti spaghetti about a $2 price increase just check yourself.

    >t. when I got upset that Publix raised my vodka’s price I switched to Barton’s which was $10.99/handle and (semi) promptly drank myself to death after proclaiming economic victory
Dialysis fricking sucks, I’m so glad my kidneys were able to recover.

I’m not calling anyone broke, it’s more a mentality about the approach to the entire situation.
      Just fricking check yourself.
