Definitely. You don't eat McDonalds for a WHOLE F*CKING MONTH and then get away with no long lasting effects. His health was fricked permanently after he did that insane stunt. Anything for 15 minutes of fame I guess.

A lot of people ITT missing the point of the movie. 87% of the population understands you cannot eat fast food for every meal with zero negative health effects. The point he was trying to make was that McDonald's and other fastfood corporations were tacitly encouraging consumers to eat McDonald's more and more often and not explaing what you just said: that eating McDonald's or any other type of goyslop for every meal will eventually kill you. Think of it like cigarettes, everyone now knows smoking every day will kill you, people still buy them. However, cigarettes come with a warning on the pack that says they cause cancer, McDonald's meals come with a toy for kids. Can you see why this might be a problem and why there may be some level of corporate culpability?

He ate McDonalds every day for a month for the movie but before and after was a fitness and nutrition nut.

And if you ever saw the movie you'd know it was all total bullshit. McDonalds isn't health food but eating a whole large combo isn't going to make a grown man puke half way through the meal and eat hamburgers for a week isn't going to have doctors demanding you stop because you're body is shutting down!

He also went on to make a movie about the poultry industry that didn't do as well, but he did expose the scam behind "free range" chicken.

Shortly afterwards, fathead guy says blacks and Hispanics are naturally fat, and his israelite suggests that being anti fat is a symptom of immigrant anxiety for thin white people.

You know how those corporate people can be, maybe they’re pulling some tricks. First of, you never really see him ingesting these Big Macs every day. Secondly, who says that he isn’t getting a custom order. Maybe technically he is eating a Big Mac but maybe just only a few ingredients. I wonder if you can just order the salad from the Big Mac and still technically call it a Big Mac. The receipt will still say Big Mac.

He lost the weight because he reduced the caloric intake. He was eating anywhere from 6k to 12k calories a day for the movie. Obviously being overweight is bad for your health, but you could eat any type of food and get fat if you overeat.

            Calories are fake&gay
Try eating 6-12k calories of steak. You won't be able to.
And even if you somehow were able to eat it (daily) you wouldn't get as fat as on a goyslop diet because your insulin+cortisol wouldn't spike and the processes that trigger fat storage wouldn't be activated.

I absolutely cannot. I've tried to gain weight many times in the past (am in my late 30s now) including attempts with fast food and junk food and the absolute greatest number of calories I've ever been able to consume in one day wasn't even with that kind of food. It was only 3000 calories and I did it by stuffing myself with rice, sardines, lots of olive oil, pistachios, mozzarella cheese, and almond milk primarily (also vegetables with negligible calories).

Nobody ever said it was a death sentence. As a novel virus, it would drive a higher rate of people into hospital than the medical system had been planning for. If you needed cancer treatment, the uninhibited transmission of covid would have lowered your prospects even if you never contracted covid yourself.

It's no surprise he died relatively young.

This. Considering that his liver was shot back in 2003, it's a miracle that he lived this long to begin with.

Why do they have such special access? Other companies and industries have far more money flowing around. Will Apple be happy that Big Pharma have bribed the government to kill everyone in 6 months/2 years/5 years/10 years?

Yeah, sure, THEY want to kill everyone. But not really everyone but only the ones who trust them enough to take their vaccine, and not the doubters who have been screaming about vaccine autism for ages and obviously wouldn't take it.
So, when you boil it down, the whole moronic anti-vax idea is that THEY want to kill the people who are on their side leaving only the Free Thinkers™ who hate them.
And they want to do this because...???

Boy you’re one dense fricker. Even ignoring that alcohol has plenty of calories/sugar/etc, another totally scientific thing he did for the film was switch from an active to sedentary lifestyle.

Gained more weight from sitting on his ass all day than anything specific he ate.

But he didn't have alcohol during the documentary. I guess you could argue withdrawals but that wouldn't cause you to gain weight.

How do you know? He was dishonest. You can get withdrawals in less than 12 hours of not drinking if you're that addicted, so he probably stopped for a while to get some footage and kept drinking off camera.

We don't have any direct evidence, but there's an unaccounted discrepancy between the amount of calories that he claimed to eat and the number of calories that he could consume, which can be explained by alcohol.

Cigarettes have actual proven harm, kill half a million americans every year, and have no legitimate reason to exist.
What little harm exists for vaccines is offset by the protective effects against Covid, a disease that killed a couple million people in the US alone.

The bottom guy had TONS of people working for him tell him about his safety shit, he's technically peer reviewed too. He just ignored all of it. Just like the gays in science can. Y'all act like science can't just publish shit like Mein Kampf, when people totally have gotten it through peer review and published. There are no "checks" on science, outside of repeatability testing. And MOST science can't get repeated.

have worked within the confines of peer reviews. for most sciences, getting through peer review consists of making everything believable, knowing the right people, having the right credentials, and linking to whatever the trendy topic of the day is. not usually included: reproduction of experiments (even when moronicly easy to do), examination of underlying data, or basic plagiarism checks.

it's incredibly easy to see how broken 'science' is by just scratching the surface. generally common sense and gut checks are more informative than the latest studies.

to clarify: making everything *sound* believable. you can play out all sorts of wacky conclusions, so long as you justify it with impressive sounding jargon

did that really happen? i remember the hooplah when it came out and i was 15 in 2004, but i had a strong desire to never watch that stupid movie

There is a scene, at the start where he is in a car eating a huge looking Double Quarter Pounder™ with Cheese meal

      Here it is: https://youtu.be/0Ul6xAWjtLQ?t=50

It's obviously just all for the camera. I've never met anyone who twitches after eating a delicious and nutritious McDonald's™ burger.

The coke looks hilariously massive though, I wish this guy didn't ruin it for everyone. I say, let the people order what they want.

your arms and legs also twitch when you have serious alchohol problems.

We all took it seriously that eating macdonalds for a month radically reduced his liver function...... nobody even questioned if it was due to him binge drinking toilet-tier whiskey every day.

            Anonymous

is there any proof he was an actual alcoholic or is it just summized from the liver stuff?

              Anonymous

He admitted 10+ years later he had never been sober for more than a week for 20+ years. Didn't say if he didn't count the month he shot the documentary, so he probably didn't. Also the documentary was edited to look like his doctor saying his drinking was killing him to saying McDonald's was killing him. No one is getting a fatty liver from one month of McDonald's.
