My body has decided I can no longer eat cheese

Should I end it? What’s the point in living anymore? The silent judgment of others at the charcuterie board when I skip over all the delicious cheeses… kill me.

They have pills for that if it's just lactose intolerance

The more aged the cheese is, the less lactose it contains, so things like sharp cheddar should be okay. I think I have it too, developed it in my late twenties, but it seemingly comes and goes. Sometimes I'll drink a big glass of milk and have gas/diarrhea for the rest of the day. Other times I'll eat things like Kraft mac and cheese or condensed milk that are supposed to be full of lactose, with no reaction afterwards

This, I think goat’s milk also has a bit less lactose so you may be able to get away with that too.

homie im lactose intolerant and can eat cheese just fine. Did you suddendly get a casein allergy?

Can you just take lactase pills? My colon does not like dairy and one doctor told me to cut it out completely which worked, but I saw another recently and he told me I could try taking lactase pills. They get rid of 90% of the diarrhea, bloating, cramps, constipation, and blood for me
But even then, most aged cheeses are usually fine as long as you only have a slice of two. It's only fresh cheese that'll frick you up, but even then usually only in quantities.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will try lactase. I also checked with /misc/ they said it was the israelites. /x/ said it’s definitely a demon.

/misc/ was probably right. In any event, shit like this can sometimes crop up for a while and then disappear. I got some weed allergy when i was 27 and spent six years crying and snotting when I mowed the lawn. then it completely disappeared. Why? No one fricking knows.

Hello! I was a lifetime sufferer from lactose intolerance that started when I was like 9. I couldnt digest dairy until I was about 25, at which point I tried a no grains diet. I still ate potatoes and drank beer, but in only three days I was able to drink kefir and eat cottage cheese.

THats literally all you have to do. Now im back to eating grains too and still not lactose intolerant.

Did you have allergy shots? Did you take drugs that messed with your immune system? (Allergy medication, I took for years, never helped)

You're used to having pasteurized cheese product from the local food bank at the beginning of the month. This turned you sour. Stop being sour my poopy colored skinned friend.

If you get the chance to go to an expensive white person party or banquet someday that has an actual cheese spread you should sample it. Cheese is probably the most diverse food category next to maybe something like "curry" or "soup". There's a cheese out there for everyone.

Pointing out the diversity of cheese to foreigners is like trying to describe the differences among Whites. They just do not get the subtleties.

    It ain't easy being cheesy.

Idk if it was general lactose intolerance, but I remember reading about some kind of supplements that people can take where they just eat cheese anyway and then take the medicine before/after and generally turn out fine. Maybe look into that.

I've seen so many people suddenly become lactose intolerant just over the last couple years, who didn't have issues with diary prior. I have to wonder if they're doing something to dairy cows or if the vax did something to people.

I grew into being a lactard when I hit puberty. It was a rough transitional point but after a few years I just got over it. The only thing I miss is ice cream.
I will eat cheese occasionally, because it's delicious, but I pay the price and I know what I'm in for.

you can do two things: figure out what's the cap of lactose that you can synthesize at once and always eat below that; or you can supplement lactase to help your body process the lactose; you just don't want any lactose reaching your large intestine and doing wicked shit
