nicotine isn’t carcinogenic, tobacco is. Zyn is pure nicotine. Furthermore, it is hypocritical to decry the carcinogenic nature of tobacco and also consume seed oils and diet drinks, known carcinogens.

No, Zyn is a few mg of nicotine in a pouch made of who knows what full of mystery powder.

What makes tobacco carcinogenic? I read certain processing methods and combustion make it carcinogenic but not that it inherently is.

          >Tobacco-specific nitrosamines (TSNAs): These are potent carcinogens formed during the curing and processing of tobacco.
          >Radioactive elements: Tobacco plants absorb radioactive elements from soil and fertilizers, such as polonium-210 and lead-210.
          >Nicotine-derived nitrosamine ketone (NNK): A potent carcinogen formed from nicotine during tobacco processing
          >Heavy metals: Such as cadmium and arsenic, which can accumulate in the body and cause cellular damage.
Yes, tobacco as it is found in nature is carcinogenic as well.

Inhalation of smoke is also carcinogenic.
          As anon said

          >Radioactive elements: Tobacco plants absorb radioactive elements from soil and fertilizers, such as polonium-210 and lead-210.

plants can absorb heavy metals from the ground. Tobacco might absorb more heavy metals than most plants, similar to sunflowers by phytoextraction.
Tobacco fields can also use pesticides and herbicides.
To make use of every part of the tobacco product for cigarettes, lots of chems are used to increase the volume thereby decreasing the weight of ciggies.
If you simply use standard loose tobacco, the added processing chems should not be a problem.

I've never done drugs or smokes but tried this in a whim last year. At first it is a real rush, but you build tolerance quick and it doesn't do much after that. I quit cold turkey since it stopped working and felt no withdrawal.

I felt way wittier and charismatic (I could make the best jokes right away and felt smarter if that makes sense)

The cons made me quit though, felt an intense head rush, and my tummy hurt 🙁

Should I pick up smoking cigarettes if:
    1. I'm already 30 & made up my mind life isn't worth living past 50
    2. I need to lose 20 pounds so I can go swimming again and think it's easier to just replace eating with smoking than to work out

      Anonymous

Probably not. Chances are you'll feel differently as you get closer to 50. And you'll feel like crap sometimes before then because you're smoking.

20 pounds is nothing. You don't even have to work out to lose weight. Just stop eating so much and eat less junk food. Smoking is more effort than just not eating.

So you've chosen Fisher Price's Baby's first substance addiction. Trust me, nicotine isn't as fun as anyone's made it out to seem.
    >Kinda good when you have some
    >Makes you violently ill and then refuses to let you vomit if you have too much at once
    >A meal is more satisfying with nicotine after
    >food stops tasting good without it
    >degenerates joint padding decades down the line.

if you hate yourself, or what you know you will be one, then I highly recommend it.
