Humans only started drinking milk about 10,000 years ago and that caused genetic changes with lactase persistence. People have been making bread for at least 14,000 years.

Literally does, and it's a huge deal. Pacific Islanders fuck their bodies up if they ingest a lot of modern foods that "they" had no access to for millenia.
It's not like an on/off switch where some people CANNOT ingest wheat and some can ingest 15k calories of it with no issues, but I could bet good money that everyone who bitches that they SUDDENLY became fit after stopping bread/pasta (and aren't lying homosexuals who were actually just guzzling sugar) have a genetic makeup of people who were still eating an animal-centric diet even for most of the 2nd millenium (european mountains/central asia/islanders who didn't have access to a staple crop)

Your ancestors didn't sit around on their asses all day. They ate bread because it provided a lot of cheap calories in a convenient, fairly long lasting package, while they spent all day working in fields and doing manual labor. But for a modern lifestyle, bread is poison.

It means you don't need to physically exert yourself enough to consooom bread so much. And btw, your ancestors mostly ate whole grain bread. Refined flour was for rich fucks and royalty. So the bread commoners ate was far less calorie dense and had tons of fiber compared to the modern goyslop bread, making it much more healthier. You're not eating the same thing.

                Lots of presumption here.
                You don't know
                - how much I physically exert myself
                - how much bread I "consoom"
                - what my ancestors ate
                - what sort of bread I may or may not be eating

Not paying attention to what you eat is how you get diabetus and turn into a landwhale. Eat only as much as you need to. Sometimes even less, so that your body can do maintenance and house cleaning by going into autophagy mode and get rid of excess fat and weak, cancerous tissues. Your body didn't evolve to eat 3 square meals a day, especially ones full of refined carbs that are too calorie dense. Eat like your ancestors did before they were enslaved by the modern goyslop peddling corporations.

                Anonymous

Every Italian eats carbs every day and in no small quantity. The diabetes rate is 6.5% and includes both types 1 and type 2. Ergo, the "risk" is minimal at best and your argument is invalid.

Well, why don't you tell me
                - how much I physically exert myself
                - how much bread I "consoom"
                - what my ancestors ate
                > - or even just where they're from lmao
                - what sort of bread I may or may not be eating
I mean... if you're going to make these presumptions, surely you've some ideas there, don't you? You wouldn't be, dare I say it, talking through your arse... would you?
It's really quite simple. All you have to do is accurately tell me
                - how much I physically exert myself
                - how much bread I "consoom"
                - what my ancestors ate
                - what sort of bread I may or may not be eating
and I'll concede. I'll throw out all my grain products. I'll eat 37 steaks daily. And all you have to do is accurately tell me
                - how much I physically exert myself
                - how much bread I "consoom"
                - what my ancestors ate
                - what sort of bread I may or may not be eating
That's all. Then, you'd have a point. But until you do, you're about as pointless as Shaq with a free throw.

Most people on Culinaly are obese teenagers. It's one of the youngest and fattest boards on this entire site. 90% of everyone there just wants to look at pictures of half-naked dudes and imagine that one day they'll look like that too. i eat homemade whole wheat bread and other whole grain foods often and i have cum gutters and no one knows i'm 34 and i unknowingly hooked up with a 20-year old furry at a convention who has much more hair thinning and and a little more flab than me so i didn't know he's so young but i'll probably do it again if no one hotter shows up to the party next time or maybe i'll stay at the rave instead if i'm already getting enough action from folx who eat vegetables

It brings me great joy that every time I eat even the tiniest bite of something made from whole grains, my body is showered in amazing micronutrients while my perfectly healthy liver will easily tank the carb intake, restituting it as energy later in the day while I work out
    .
It is my earnest desire that ketards will one day be able to tell the difference between that and ingesting thrice-inverted-super-corn-syrup, but I cannot save those who do not want to save themselves

I am diabetic type 2 (thanks to stress eating) and honestly, cutting out carbs is the only thing that has helped with controlling my blood glucose. Next challenge for me: counting calories.

Bread smells great when it's baking but it has no flavor unless you smother the fuck out of it in butter. I simply have no desire to eat it. I don't know why you weirdos love it so much.

American or just lacking a tongue?

Real bread has a subtle but obviously present flavour that pairs perfectly with fresh butter (and cheese).

Sweetie, if you can't taste the flavor of bread, then you either need to stop stuffing your face with sugary goyslop, or see a doctor.

Sorry anon, I have self control. I will continue to eat a reasonable amount of delicious, life giving bread and magically not be a fatass.

it's not that they're bad per se, they've just made us weaker. see our jaw sizes compared to those before agriculture. all their teeth used to fit in their mouths fine because they primarily ate meat. but when you primarily eat bread your jaw is smaller and thus you inevitably get teeth crowding

different people have different bodies. I feel like shit if I don't eat some kind of bread or pasta regularly

I love my 100% whole wheat bread, it's got a little bit of protein and some phytonutrients in it. Makes good sammiches, better glycemic load profile for the meal. Whole wheat pasta fucks too, I prefer it over regular pasta because it's hearty. Brown rice has more flavor... take the whole grains pill bros. The health benefits aren't *huge* and it's still calorie dense, but IMO the improved feeling of fullness and more complex taste is worth it.
