Did Dr. Pepper stop making the soda in glass bottles or was that only a southern thing? I saw them once in Texas a decade ago and it was way better than regular old Dr. Malpractice.

Really, a plant grown by third world slaves is more expensive than the one grown by Midwest farmers that need 500k dollar combines to harvest. I think you're being schizo. It's not only possible, but probable, that more people like sugar from corn more.

So, what you're saying is, there is a .02 percent difference in all of the processed sugars, so much so, that much of the table sugar you buy is a mix of beet sugar and sugar cane, so unless you're some snob sommelier, you cant tell the difference, and corn is locally sourced, whereas your sugarcane has to be shipped from the otherside of the globe, destroying our planet with fossil fuels, and that's why they charge you more. I fricking hate you humans so fricking god damn much.

That's like exactly the wrong way to advertise a product. The whole point of root beer is that it's, at least conceptually, a traditional old-fashioned American beverage. I WANT my father's root beer. Why would I choose modernity?
