underrated thread
I don't give a shit if soda has a lot of ice, that's just doing me a favor.
But when places pull this shit with iced coffee, that's a problem. You're watering down people's caffeine dose, cheapskates.
I've seen places charging $7 for a "nitro brew" do this. I wrote the owner one time and he defended it. He said "I actually like a lot of ice in my iced coffee!".
Fricking israelite.
javascript:;
chick fil a digs the cup into a pile of this ice and puts two drops of coffee there and charges you $5
My pleasure!
>I don't give a shit if soda has a lot of ice, that's just doing me a favor.
This, I can't remember the last time I finished a fast food soda anyways
i think the problem is that if you like to sip your drinks slowly, then your shit is gonna get all watered down and flat
no caring that you're getting israeliteed of 9/10 of a drink that is already 99% mark up
It's not like you're making efficient use of those Calories. Having less Calories than you "paid for" isn't something you're noticing.
It's just about having a tasty, ice cold beverage to cool off and hydrate.
I'd rather it stay ice cold than not be watered down.
shut up moron. I want to SIP MY DRINK MORE THAN TWO TIMES BEFORE ITS EMPTY!
Meh. I like fountain soda and I can't have one at home.

Not if they use espresso as the base like literally every coffee shop does.
What coffee shops are you seeing this at?
An iced filter coffee doesn't ever have espresso shots in it unless you ask.
And using espresso completely defeats the point of nitro coffee.
Coffee in America is weird. You guys should have stuck to tea.
I ask for light ice every single time. If I ever go to starbucks I have to ask for very light ice. And I also have to ask for no sugar because that’s their default if you ask for a large black iced coffee.
One time at a smaller coffeeshop I asked for light ice in an iced tea and saw the cheap c**ts pouring water in there
ask for no ice and see the wagies all roll their eyes and huff because you got around their rigged system.
at some places like zaxbys or chick fil a they just give you a half cup.
Not for me they don't
you think the wagie cares about the profit of the buisness? they huff because you're making them break out of autopilot mode
And it waters it down. Might as well ask for water.
That's one thing McDonalds does right.
They put just enough ice in the drink that by the time you're done drinking it, there's little to no ice left. And the soda is never watered down.
When I go anywhere else, the cup is still a quarter full of ice at least.
My gripe is that it's literally sugared ice in places that have it, typically.
I've been chewing a lot of ice lately (yes, medgays, I have an iron deficiency) and have become a bit of an ice connoisseur, so that's indeed the "good" ice. I even bought ice cube trays that kicks out little gumdrop shaped cubes like picrel.
Just ask for lite ice.
I only go to royal farms for my large sprite with chewy ice and a 3 piece of spicy fried chicken. sublime experience
