            Chocolate is psychoactive just like tea or coffee. It's not super strong though unless you really consume a lot of it. But if you don't consume a lot of caffeine regularly or stuff like that, eating high percentage chocolate is kind of like having a cup of tea.

              It used to be a pretty common pesticide apparently. It was heavily used in cotton fields. It was just so effective that people kept using it I guess despite the obvious issues. Rice is more likely to take up arsenic and it's often grown in those old cotton fields.

            It's not always pollution. In at least some areas of India where rice is grown they use wells for irrigation and the groundwater is just naturally full of arsenic. Rice happens to be a plant that sequesters it for some reason, so even at otherwise acceptable concentrations it causes the food to be toxic.
