    Some kind of oil. Maybe mixing it into a liquid and faintly spraying it over the popcorn if you're careful not to soak it. Also a little butter/oil/fat goes a long way, shake and tumble your popcorn properly.

      This. My family and I pop and eat a LOT of popcorn. I season it in weird ways but never with that stuff in the OP pic. Ironically, the best way to get powdered seasonings to stick is by spraying the popcorn with nonstick cooking spray. I spray, sprinkle the seasoning and toss the popcorn with my hands or a spatula then repeat two more times so that every kernel is evenly coated in spray and seasonings.

          For one, I was my hands before touching anything food related. It's almost pathological. I won't unload the dishwasher, hand wash dishes, touch glasses, bowls or plates from the cupboard, touch silverware or cooking utensils from the drawers, set out a new table cloth or runner, prepare or otherwise handle food or even open the refrigerator or freezer without washing my hands first. Eating on the go, which i do rarely anyway, is the only exception I can think of to this otherwise infallible rule. Not many carts and food trucks have hand washing stations.
          Still, not only did I mention the spatula but I'm not making you any popcorn any time soon, anyway.

          Maybe I used the wrong term; is that not the same thing? I use a butter flavoured spray from Lidl because I find it tastes better than other similar sprays which cost more than it does.
          Unless I'm doing stranger flavours that don't quite pair with butter like tamarind.

    I use an aerosol EVOO spray to lightly coat the air popped popcorn then shake some seasoning over it so it sticks better.

    The finer the seasoning, the more likely it is to stick.

    Other than that, get one of those butter flavoured "1 calorie" sprays, 2-3 sprays , mixing between sprays should be enough to get it to stick.

    I am assuming you are air popping, or using a microwave bag and enhancing it later? Try using a controlled amount of oil in a large pot the old fashioned way. A literal tablespoon is all you need for a whole pot of corn, about 8 cups popped.

    Which flavor are you using? Maybe switching to real cheese, for example will be stickier. My own recipe is to use lime juice, lime zest, and fine sea salt. A little drizzle of hot chili oil from frying my sliced ancho pepper strips is enough to stick it all, and the lime juice does the rest of the tang and moisture. Having crunchy sweet hot ancho peppers every couple of bites is far better than some shake-on powder.

    Heres what you do. You take your girlfriend out to see a movie and you get the largest buttered Popcorn they got. You cut a hole at the bottom of the bag and you slide your dick in it. Surprise her with it during the movie and when she grabs it you can add your nut butter to the mix. Now you are ready to add the seasoning.
