Stop playing grab ass on the board and just go back to the fucking store and ask that maybe-anon if he is on CK?
Fistbump. You just had the most random occurrance happen, running into someone nearby on the internet randomly. It's only happened to me like once in my life.
If it's not him, if he says what's Ck, tell him it's a place where you post food and someone recognized your groceries. It's whatever, laugh it off.

WTH are you making?
Are you going to do a pizza with banana and romaine topping and wash it down with strawberry non-milk?
And what's up with putting cider in a plastic container? Does somebody like the taste of diluted plastic of smth?
Canned yellowfin. Bumblebee makes a premium version with pesto, all you add is a little lemon juice and it's terrific. But much more expensive than a normal can so make your own.
>chicken thighs, two pounds >bell peppers, green and red >onions >celery >smoked sausages, three packs >chicken livers >garlic >soda, 12 pack >pastrami >swiss cheese >bread >sausage buns >tabasco >rice >pasta >heavy cream >buttermilk >block parmgiano reggiano or however you spell it >whatever that hard cheese is that says "gran" on the side so I can say "this is granny's cheese" hur hur I forget the name of it but that's what I need >butter >bacon >pork sausage >sweet yellow onion >potatoes >tomatoes
And I think that's it. Was like 150 bucks, I dunno how poor people are gonna make it. I basically am eating nothing but pasta and rice-based meals and I do pretty alright for myself and don't have kids to feed.
>why heavy cream and buttermilk? arent they damn near the same thing?
Not at all. You can't substitute them. Buttermilk has a tangy flavor to it and isn't pretty low in fat. It is thicker than regular milk though. Traditionally, buttermilk was made the liquid that was left over after cream had been churned into butter. These days, it's a cultured product like yogurt.
You guys legit buy fucking garbage. As a Euro, the only thing I buy is meat, dairy, vegetables, fruit. You only need a handful of Hispanices, good salt and some butter, Chop your veg, throw in some meat. There are infinite combinations of food you can make without all this processed trash.
I don't want to sound racist, but I think most of you guys are goofs who don't know how to check for sales and shop smart.
>stock up on meat when it's on sale. You can freeze what you won't use soon. >buy fresh fruit and vegetables based on what's on sale >things like canned beans and canned soup are almost always going to be more expensive than just cooking dried beans or >for items that keep a long time (dried beans, oatmeal, etc) buy in bulk to save money (make sure to actually check price per ounce/pound to make sure it saves money). I use about 10 pounds of pinto beans a year and can buy 8 whole pounds for $6.88. For comparison, one can of Walmart brand beans costs 78 cents. Since canned beans are based on cooked weigh water, you'd have to buy almost 30 15.5 ounce cans to get the equivalent amount of beans. At 78 cents/can (and that's if you're not shelling out for higher priced brand name beans) you're looking at about $23 for the same amount of beans. The canned beans do come salted, so you do need to account for the cost of salt as well as electricity/gas for cooking your beans, but even then there are big savings to cooking beans yourself.

Not enough garlic. You should eat a least a whole head of garlic per meal. That's not an exaggeration.
