Wasn't the whole food pyramid thing a huge scam pushed by the diary industry or something?

Grains industry but yes. Nutritional science as a whole is the most corrupt industry on the planet by a very big margin.

Yeah iirc this lasted for like 2 years sometime in the 00s before they came up with the plate analogy

I was going to make a thread but this is actually perfect
I made the decision that I was not going to be a victim of the goyslop industrial complex any longer
Natural foods only, no sneed oils, no grains, no fake sugars, none of it
If you can pick it off of a plant or slice it off of an animal and eat it right there on the spot then I ain't eating it
    Meat, vegetables, mushrooms, fruit
As much as I want whenever I want it, turns out I feel weirdly full and satisfied now after eating very little

And wouldn't you know it my body basically deaged nearly a decade in just a couple weeks
Skin got tighter and smoother, hair getting fuller, body fat melting away, more energy, wear and tear unwearing and tearing

The other day was my mom's birthday and I had a slice of cake, I was sick within a few minute and have been for 2 days now
Not just indigestion, but a pounding headache and my joints are so inflamed, my knees and neck are killing me, I can barely see straight.
I read the icing too, it's sugar and hydrogenated palm oil. That shit isn't fricking food!

It made me seriously realize the things they sell us are actually legitimately poison, my body is poisoned right now and working through it, And the only reason people in general feel ok day to day is because they have built up a tolerance to the poisons they feed us just like an alcoholic does
But that doesn't mean it's not making them sick. In fact it is making them sick, its making everybody sick, But when sickness is normal to you it feels like health

      Bit of an overreaction.
But yeah, prepackaged food, especially desserts, is outright disgusting if you stick to decent food for a while.

Tried a Slim Jim for the first time and it was fricking foul. Tasted nothing but sugar and oil. Didn't bust out in hemorrhoids or whatever you did, though.

That's not normal. Are you sure you don't have Celiac disease? I have extreme joint paint if I eat wheat because of that. But not everyone reacts to it like that.

Also after eating wheat I notice a reaction within minutes like you, it feels like I start sweating and my stomach starts to burn.

I have this too. But I've heard people in other countries don't have this reaction to bread. I think it's why so many Americans think everything needs to be "gluten free". It ain't the gluten that's the problem. Humans have been eating bread for thousands of years. It's not supposed to give you any sort of reaction. There's something in our food, perhaps preservatives, that is causing this reaction, not the bread itself.

Unadultered bread is flour, water, yest and salt.
if you can stomach Pasta you can stomach bread.
If you get health issues from store bought bread its the added shit

I've read it could be a bunch of different things. Modern wheat having more gluten than what people used to consume. Flour being ground finer than it used to be. All the other crap people eat today especially in the US causing "leaky gut" and the flour particles entering your bloodstream causing the reaction.

But it could also just be increased knowledge of the issue. A lot of people with Celiac disease don't know it. Apparently gluten can act like an opioid in your intestines so people don't notice the immediate discomfort. It's possible that there were always lots of people who had issues with gluten, it just went mostly unnoticed or they had no choice of what to eat anyway.

Maybe if you're a bird or insect, but for us humans they're just as inedible as grass and tree bark unless we heavily process them

according to this you could have a cheeseburger for every meal with a piece of fruit after and it would fall within the guidelines

If you count a single slice of tomato as a full helping of vegetables and your meat is somehow not incredibly greasy then yes, you genuinely would fall within this guideline

It turns out that they were correct. Grains are the human food across the globe. Abundant, easy, storable. More plants should be eaten than animals. Although I would just take dairy off the chart and include organ meats instead in the meat section. Fats, oils and sweeteners should be used sparingly.

Grains didn't even exist across most of the world until recently and got everyone fat, shut up.
