Sauce on Burgers

Alright Culinaly, what's your opinion on putting sauces on burgers. Are Burgers better with or without sauce and if yes, what kinda sauce do you like or dislike on yours?

    It's a custom that varies a lot from place to place, in the US this is the standard, while in most places it's kinda rare.

    I like a good spicy mustard. I hate mayo or ketchup on burgers.

    I think it depends on how dry the ass burger is. It might need some sauce if it is "well done"

      It is true
      A very dry burger, such as the b*gm*c, with the extra club of bread and piles of lettuce, would be almost inedible without a tangy, creamy remoulade.
      B!gM&c sauce is a variety of remoulade.

      Actually this is a 'food' board, literally the first word even in what the board is for is FOOD then "and cooking". You're like the morons complaining about "non political" threads on /misc/ which outright says it's just about anything politically incorrect.

    depends on complementary toppings
    swiss+mushroom=smoky bbq
    cheddar+bacon=garlic aioli
    olive=mayo

    mustard/ketchup/'special sauce' can be added to any basic burger tho

    I usually make my own which is basically just a dash of mayo and mainly sour cream with garlic, I might add bleu cheese or horse radish into it as well depending on what i feel like for a regular cheeseburger with bacon.

    Mustard, Spicy Ketchup, or Barbecue sauce. Never more than one sauce.

    A burger lives from the sauces and the salad. Otherwise it would be a boring piece of shit between some boring bread.

    For me, it's dressing the lettuce with Thousand Island, the best way to prepare a cheeseburger.
