Doesn’t sound bad but apparently some food youtuber thinks it’s bad. Which means nothing.

Slice it up real thin and fry it till crisp, throw it on some toast with an egg and you’ve got a killer breakfast sandwich

Sausage, there’s no metallic taste whatsoever

Does it have that metallic liver taste or is it more like a sausage?

I just ate some. only thing is it falls apart easily and texture isn't great after you ate a bit of it. I prefer sausage but its a nice change

doesn't taste like much really. a little meaty/mealy taste maybe. mostly a texture thing

Garbage sausage with bread filler. Well, it's cornmeal really. It's garbage but certain...people from certain... places think it's special.

Scrapple is fucking awesome. Cook it till soft for sausage like, cook till crispy for bacon like. It sticks to your ribs too, you could win the west with a slab or scrapple and a cup of coffee in the morning

Don't get the hate, it's fine. Some is better than others, and I have had some truly awful Scrapple once but I can't recall the brand. To my understanding at this point it's mostly pork loin, none of the weird bits they would historically use. I hear they eat it sliced thin, cooked till crisp, and served with maple syrup. I don't live in the midatlantic though, so I can only go off what dad heard from grandpa. It can be a little strange but you'll be fine unless you're a picky eater.
