Most of the Spanish I learned in my life was working landscaping for a summer followed by a kitchen stint at Buffalo Wild Wings. Apparently white women are almost universally regarded as overentitled putas

It's not even good enough anymore to warrant an addiction. More enjoyable working the line with some shots instead

My friend was this guy, he was a full-on alcoholic by his mid 20s working at these yuppie Denver restaurants. Then he started dating this giga libtard girl who somehow inspired him to clean up his life.

I hear he's doing well now, sadly she made him ditch all his chuddy friends so I haven't seen him in a few years albiet

Literally me, except for the smoking, energy drinks and waitress parts; I drink half a jar of instant coffee and I wanted to bang the previous head chef who was a top tier MILF with a sailor's mouth.

It's just imposter syndrome. I had to drive an 80,000lb truck for almost 6 months before I started thinking of myself as an actual truck driver.

Imo that's likely just your apprehension speaking. You're new there, you haven't quite slotted yourself in to the social environment of the restaurant, and you still need some time to settle in.

Use your head to combat your emotions, anon. If your colleagues and customers are saying you're doing well, the logical most likely reason is because you are. Also, impostor syndrome like what

it's all manager dependent. i've lucked out where not my boss, not his boss, but THAT guys boss acknowledging just a couple days ago, "Darren is constantly high but is the best third shift cook in the county"
if you don't want to cook, you're never too old to serve or bartend.

If you want to wreck your sleep and eating schedules and overall health then it's never too late to jump in as a prep cook or doing dishwashing duty, if they pick you over the hundred illegals standing out at the back door.
Food business is really ungrateful unless you're the owner or the guy doing the money laundering and giving it to the owner to do whatever he wants. You're not missing a lot and you can watch how it is by eating at joint when it's packed on the weekend; just sit near the kitchen door and you will eventually hear some screaming coming from there.

This is oddly reminding me the time i worked retail
    >wanted to get out of the industry but had no skills
    >closed tonight opens tommorow
    >short staff every night
    >no social life
    >wish i could go back to school
    >closing staff didnt do shit
    >knows the store is failing
    >customers walked in 5 mins before closing
    >spends time off drinking
    >wants to date a cashier. doesnt want the drama
    >can you come in on your day off
    >too busy to eat
    >scratches on arms
    >lost love to live
    >see no future for self
    >lives off smokes and energy drinks
