i was going to say because they're headers, but they're not even capitalized in the original article. this homosexual either retyped all this, or used ai. which one is worse?

There are no panera breads where I live but I went to the midwest once and went inside out of curiosity and I have no fricking idea why anyone would voluntarily go there. It's like a fast food bakery with garbage food

      >There Aren't Enough Power Outlets Available To Seated Customers
What in the actual frick? If this is a real concern I'm officially too old for this world.

I've only been inside a Panera 2 or 3 times when traveling and I don't understand the concept. It's literally food that you would throw together in 5 minutes at home to bring to work for lunch, except people actually pay restaurant prices for it.

      no, you don't understand
people (hipsters) go there to work (sit with their macbook open while not doing anything productive except silently judging everyone else "working" around them)

      >hipsters go to panera
Why is everyone on Culinaly moronic these days? If you said something like hipsters go to sizzler I might actually believe it, but no hipsters ever went to fricking Panera.

it's the site, not the board

I don't even know if Sizzler is still in business, but if hipsters still existed that's exactly the kind of place I could see them going to.
        >used to be extremely popular but hasn't been relevant in over 30 years - so just before most of them were alive/cognizant
        >outdated and kitschy
        >cheap steak and all you can eat salad bars where 90% of everything comes directly out of a can
That's exactly the kind of place hipsters would ironically but also not-ironically because irony is dead or whatever bullshit flock to. Put a $3 tallboy of whatever macro-lager is currently popular on happy hour from 2-4am and you've basically saved the franchise.

Are you referring to the post above yours? The one that explicitly says that hipsters don't exist anymore?

              Anonymous

They do exist they just don’t wear suspenders anymore. That’s the point of being hip, it’s always changing

                Anonymous

Smart phones and social media basically killed hipsterdom. Of course there are still people out there who hold similar views, but as an identifiable counterculture "hipsters" simply can't exist anymore on a structural level.

                Ok hipster.

                Anonymous

The irony is that I'm actually more hipster than most hipsters, but nobody has ever called me a hipster outside of the internet. It's almost like a group of people who all identify with each other over their shared interest in being "different" is doomed from the outset. I hated the vast majority of hipsters, so good riddance. As long as we can all agree that hipsters were never into IPA or Panera I'd be fine never brining it up again.

Their breakfast souffles were half the price and 1.5 times the size about 4 years ago. They were the only thing I got from there for years. And their danishes were really good too. Now the danishes are gone, and the souffles are made no where near perfection anymore.

people said the same shit about chipotle. yet they've survived several ecoli outbreaks, shitty service, smaller and smaller portions and rising prices every year and they are doing better than ever.

Panera is really a white woman's cafe. It's not an actual fast food place like chipotle with loyal adherents. If the white women stop going, they die, especially if the women determine it isn't the "in" place to be at. Panera should be alarmed at this shit.

Their coffee is legitimately terrible. I got a free unlimited sip deal for a year and even if it was free it was still disappointing. Now i can just go to a QT and get a free refill as long as i bring my own cup so even gas station coffee is better.

Panera is overpriced hospital food. The value isn't even there anymore. A cup of soup and half of a pathetic sandwich for $12? Eat shit and die.

    >food quality
This has been the case for years. They turned the chicken noodle that was good into a "low fat" water with some chicken bits in it. Anything good eventually gets deleted from the menu in the name of replacing it with fad shit.

    >prices
Always were high for the shit they gave you. It's fricking bread, it's dirt cheap.

    >Smaller menu
Of course, deleting menu items is a Panera tradition.

    >Over it
After they deleted the last sandwich I liked, I said frick it and never went back. I used to like eating there because it was fast and I got to see some eye candy while there. Not worth it for shit food though.

Panera Bread is the only restaurant in my city that had an employee tell me to wear a mask during the Covid nonsense, over a year into it they were still enforcing that shit. I haven’t been back there since then.

Have you been inside a Panera recently? It's a business model nightmare.
They went all in on the poke bowls and other hipster menu item bullshit that don't involve bread. Unbelievable, considering their previous business model was a bakery/homestyle cooking fast food place that had bread in nearly every meal

My friend worked at Panera and everyone else there was high or having sex with the manager to be allowed to get high and people would steal other employee's money. It's no surprise once they started hiring certain types of people the quality fell too, like everything else in the world from the same type of people.
