      The official RDA for sodium in the US is over blown as hell. Something like 2500 mg. Meanwhile Asians eat 8 to 12 grams of sodium every single day and aren't dying of nerve gas at every meal.

      If you aren't obese with high blood pressure you can eat as much sodium as you want. You're going to piss it out an hour later.

    I don't like the little chunks of textured shit they have in place of meat. I'd rather those not be in there at all. they're disgusting. it's why i don't buy many many types of ramen.

    Absolutely God-tier. SO fricking shrimpy - I believe the secret is actual powdered shrimp in the powder mix. 10/10.
    You can sometimes find powdered shrimp in the Mexican foods section of grocery stores - a teaspoon of this added to this kicks it up to 11/10.

        You mean from a flavor or heat perspective? The heat doesn't bother me on any of them, but the pork and beef ones just have a fricking godawful chemical flavor - don't know if it's from the sauce or what. The sauce of the chicken and shrimp ones doesn't have that problem.

          Nope, flavor wise. I don't think the fire sauce is very spicy at all regardless. Def give it a try sometime, cause whenever I use the full fire sauce packet I get that chemical taste you're talking about.

        6/10 I guess. It's mid.
        Pic related are 10/10 though. Chili actually infused into the noodles themselves. They're really chicken-y and have a delightfully pungent chili flavor. An absolute flavor explosion.

            I don't disagree but that's why I buy habanero powder 1 lb at a time. There are very few noodle products I don't need to add it to.
            THESE motherfrickers were one I didn't need to add it to. Found these once at 99 Cent Only (RIP). Bought one, ate it, went back and bought like 20 of them the next day - so good. After that they never had them in again and now they ded.
            These are delicious and absurdly hot.

            It is an impossible to describe flavor, but one that immediately makes your instincts go, "this is not a natural flavor." I don't know what else to say. It is a very bad, very obviously unnatural, off flavor which my instincts tell me I should not eat.

      For those who don't know, it's basically squid and pork pho. It's good af. You can get it with other noodles beside banh pho but the broth is always the same.

    I tried the chicken one of these and it kind of sucked. it made my coworkers mad because it made the break room smell like garlic for the rest of the day which I thought smelled pretty good, but the taste was completely forgettable. it wasn't as spicy as advertised either. my favorite noodles that you can buy at 7/11 are these ones, although microwaving them in the plastic container is kind of questionable. they are actually pretty spicy.

      I tried the korean bbq one of these today and it was decent. Was kind of similar to mi goreng but not quite as good. I heard the teriyaki one is good so I'm gonna try that next.
