      >any mention of honey replace with maple syrup
      >any pepper based sauce/flavour replace with chipotle
Been seeing this sentiment a lot

maple syrup is the best liquid sugar, and chipotle is the best pepper

You're right, but they're different enough that the switch isn't appropriate every time. Sometimes the smoke from chipotle is just inappropriate.

I got the jalapeño hot sauce and it’s just kinda spicy ketchup, not a fan

I got some of that too and I wouldn't say it's ketchup-y at all. It's very clearly pepper paste

I like it for exactly that reason. I use it when I want spicy ketchup.

all American-style sriracha is already like 50% sugar lol

        You don't cook.

Are you moronic? OP obviously implied you're supposed to mix the sriracha with honey to make a wing sauce. The fact that the sriracha already has agave in it is irrelevant, because all sriracha is heavily sweetened; it's just that most use sugar and don't put the name of their sweetener on the front of the bottle. The state of reading comprehension in 2024 is worrying, to say the least.

I've found that the combination of tabasco green and chipotole sauces is really good for fried chicken and "wings." Of course I don't always have them on hand so I make due with what I do have on hand like some lemon or lime juice with some sesame oil.
That sesame oil is really good on fried chicken.
