>stick in leftover pizza from yesterday
>turn it on air-fry snack mode
>takes three minutes to preheat
>in that time, the pizza is already hot and crisp

that's it, three minutes. a normal oven would take 10 minutes to preheat, and it's not ever worth using a full sized oven to preheat a small plate of food that a microwave is better suited for, but this air-fryer is able to reheat my food in the same time that it takes to use a microwave while still having all of the benefits of using a full sized oven.

air-fryers are not a meme and I'm sick of seething oven c*cks saying otherwise because they never used a proper air-fryer before.

      ?

toaster ovens exist solely for reheating pizza.
      this is irrefutable.

I have a pretty big one and want to get an even larger one now so I wanna know if OP actually owns the one s/he posted and, if so, its interior dimensions. I roast our Thanksgiving turkey in ours every year but I have to spatchwiener it break it down to do so. I use ours for a lot more than pizza.

      >convection toaster oven with a tray/basket
I have one and initially cooked everything that used to go on a sheet pan in the basket instead under the assumption that more surface are exposed to moving air automatically made for better cooking. I couldn't figure out why my brussels sprouts weren't turning out good until I realized the basket meant the bottom of the spouts weren't steaming and cooking the insides like they do in a pan.

you ever make hot pockets in an air fryer? they have no right to be as good as they are from that

I made pizza pops. The outside became too hard. Some products are just better made using a microwave because they were designed that way.

That’s not an air fryer though that’s a toaster oven. Probably just got rebranded as a hurr durr air fryer so as not to confuse stupid millennials like you. Air fryers are those stupid bucket convection ovens that you very obviously can’t fit a medium pizza in because it uses you know a a moronic bucket, which makes them a meme for good reason. Toaster ovens on the other hand are not memes, especially good quality convection toaster ovens that are large enough to fit a 12-13” pizza like op pic. Learn the difference

    >Researchers from the University of Maine confirmed today studies showcasing high level of correlation between usage of household convection ovens (also know as "air fryers") and various forms of heart, neurological and immune disorders.
    >While the effects of air fryers were long considered to merely be a result of encouraging unhealthy eating habits, new studies seem to indicate that the appliances themselves may be to blame. Head researcher Dr. Cynthia Polt described the results as "deeply alarming".
    >In addition to expected impacts to cholesterol, high blood pressure and other typical health concerns related to diet, the findings also noted a degree of correlation between the frequent usage of air fryers and Non-Viral Advanced Immunodeficiency Syndrome (NV-AIDS) diagolsises.

I had one in college...we fricking cooked everything on it. I actually kind of miss it, you could put a bunch of pizza rolls, taquitos, toasted ravs, set it and walk away. It turns off by itself and doesn't heat up the house like an oven if it's hot out.

if I had infinite counter space I'd probably get one but I'm at max capacity. even have overflow on the counter in the next room. yeah they were black magic and if air fryers hadn't come along they'd probably be a contender.

before air fryers, people used toaster ovems to quickly make garlic bread or whatever, rather than heating up their oven. It's nothing new to use a small standalone appliance in summer for only 1-2 portions. You dont' need to justify yourself. The people who talk down to you are only talking about the fact tyhat it's a convection oven, something you can upgrade your ordinary oven to feature too. Many people are renters, however, or l;ike me, like a small appliance added to their 2nd home. I only use gimmick appliances at my Lake House where I have an immense amount of counter space, and a 3rd garage with built-in storage shalves. It's a dream to buy it all and not juggle for counter space.
