because we wuz cowboys n shit and we view them as a noble animal. Personally I think horses are assholes and would never get near an animal that could cave my chest in on a whim.
Nah, it's cause we drug the ever living shit out of our horses, no way is any of that shit safe for consumption. EU horses probably no where near as fucked as ours are.
If somebody had the nuts to start a farm and raised drug-free horses for consumption, we'd actually have it here too. But given how cheap it is overseas, big corpos don't care to get into it because low return and PETA fags would be all over it.
I guess that horse made it to the Finnish line.
The Finnish meat production line.
Is €7/kg cheap?
Yes
Cheapest pork cut is 8€/kg here in France
That's fucking insane, pork is often half that in burgerland.
That’s kilos, not pounds
I know, I did the conversion.
8€/kg = $3.90/lb
Pork is pretty frequently less than $2/lb in the US. Sometime goes on sale for 97 cents/lb.
Europe is a tax hell.
geef groene kaart
I wanna try horse so bad but Americans get all gay about eating it.
>tfw horse meat is illegal in a fuck ton of states
Land of the free my ass
It's because most horses are used to make drugs by pharma

Poosey. Horses are rad. Just don't play with those mini mutants. They're the assholes.

American horses get sold for slaughter in canada and then exported to the eu, drugs and all, kek
EU has banned all foreign drug meat.
Better let france know
Why is the expiration date so close to the packing date? Does horse meat go bad quickly?
Because the meat is from the butcherino and not in industrially produced vacuum/chemical packaging.
Why would you eat an horse?
Horse meat is very ethical since they're not grown for food but the corpses are eaten when race horses and such die. And it tastes extremely good.
>since they're not grown for food but the corpses are eaten when race horses and such die
>he literally doesn’t know
To please Tengri
That's incredibly cheap. I am getting scammed in the Netherlands here, I pay double that here (€14 per kg) for horse meat.
Horse meat is good in meat balls, mixed with pork for fat content.
t. another finn
Fat in meat is completely unnecessary and that's why the lean parts are more expensive.
