Sunday night dinner

What did you guys cook?

>pic related

Alaskan wild King salmon. Never frozen. I couldn't believe how soft and fluffy it was. Garlic mashed-potatoes and grilled asparagus. A nice Willamette Valley pinot noir to pair.

The world may be burning, but after a long day of gardening and house work, I was eating like a king. Cheers, bros.

Yup. Sometimes that is what you want.

That looks great but why is the portion so small and where is the salad?
Double the 'gus and taters and add a salad and I would rate 8/10. As is, 6/10

That's a 2/3lb filet. $20 of salmon. Yeah I wasn't sure if I could eat all the potatoes and asparagus. I had a second serving.

What do you think fresh wild Alaskan king salmon costs in Bellevue? It's $30 a pound. You'd really lose your shit when you realize first run Copper River Salmon can top out around $60 a pound.

I wouldn't lose my shit because I'm not stupid enough to pay for something like that you stupid ass.

I'm white and skinny. That's a tiny portion especially if you had a long day of physical labor.

Because I'm a gay twink and my lover doesn't like love handles on his little baby boy.

Strips were on special at the butcher for $14 a pound so I grabbed two and ate one with sauteed carrots on the side and one of those pre-made frozen pastries that you toss in the oven to bake for dessert.

Would eat. Why are you eating so close to a wall though?

I'm not eating close to the wall. I placed it there for the picture because I'm an attention whoring gay.

You shoved your TV tray table against the wall for a photo? How filthy is your hovel lol

It's a rolling fold-out table. When I'm eating alone I just leave it against the wall and eat like it's a bar counter or something. When I have guests I can roll it out and unfold the leaf.
