Can it cure hangxiety? I get extreme anxiety when I'm hungover, if I have a big night I have to drink the next two or three days to ease back into things.
Anything that works on GABA can, but you'll still get anxiety once you stop one way or another, unless you taper

frick I hate this, even as a mostly sober who'll only have like 2 drinks one night a week, the whole next day is just fricking hell for me from the rebound anxiety. I fly off the handle, shout at people, hide from crowds, get stuck in nervous thought loops, it's bullshit. What kind of abuse deterrents are you talking about? The only one I'm aware of here in Europe is Naloxone which gets put into Opiates to stop you from overdosing but that isn't a deterrent

When I used to drink every night, it would take an ungodly amount of alcohol to feel anything more than lethargic and hungry the next day due to tolerance buildup. I can see why new drinkers would like it, though.

For me its taking a sauna before I go to sleep. Even on nights where I down a whole liter of vodka, me and a friend always finish the night off with a sauna into a cold bath into a big glass of water.
