I thought they were going to start lowering prices in reaction to lower quarterly earnings since no one can afford $10 mcburgers?

No. What their CEO said was they were going to raise prices slower than in the past couple of years.

    No they aren't.

Tried one, you have to smash it down which exacerbates the slipperiness of the already slippery lettuce, and the meat gets dry once it cools down

thats literally just a bunch of double cheeseburgers stacked together

4 years ago 6.50 would buy you an entire combo with a shake.

    >Mac Junior
I'm interested. I never eat at McDicks because their reasonably sized option in Canada is the McDouble, which doesn't do it for me. I go get a Whopper Jr. instead but BK fries are awful so its a compromise.

Really? I'm not an amerimutt but I've never seen joules used in the context of food.

          Anonymous

nobody uses it but every food label I've seen mentions both calories and kilojoules.

      >All of europe.
I'm going to assume this means 'the EU' because we sure don't in bongistan. kilojoules are on our food labels but so are calories and if you ask pretty much anybody 'how many kilojoules are in (whatever)' they'll look at you like you're a martian

        yes that's what I said.

Literally nobody 'uses' kilojoules in a meaningful sense. They are the thing you look past on a label to find the calories, which everybody uses.

FRICK maccas, subway and KFC, they are charging insane prices in australia. Hungry jacks has always been expensive and dogshit. Red rooster is the only reasonable one left. Well that and the "hamburger" from maccas which is still $2. Three or four of them if I'm on the road and need something.

Out of curiosity, what's the different between Grand Mac and normal-ass Big Mac? Just the size?

the grand mac is just what the big mac used to be. they slowly decrease the size of the big mac, increase the price of the big mac, then sell a new burger the size of the old burger for way more money. it's like the boiling frog analogy. i hate corporations.
