      Anon, that's a pretty ordinary amount of cheese. If I ordered a "roasted garlic and extra cheese pizza", I'd ask for a refund because there would not be enough cheese on it.

    Had one local place that used to make garlic pizza like this. It was phenomenal. They closed and haven't seen it since, which is weird, because it's better than minced garlic pizza in every way.

      mod pizza has roasted garlic as a topping, I've gotten it a couple times and both times they put a ton of the stuff on

    best pizza I've had was no sauce on the base
    10-15 pieces of roasted garlic and a bit of the garlic oil that the garlic was "roasted" in on the base instead
    then cheese
    then the toppings were chicken slices that was baked in the wood fire oven along with chopped tomato
    after it came out of the wood oven it was drizzled with a generous bit of a roasted garlic cream sauce
    and finally very thin scallions cut on the extreme bias
    the place doesn't sell it anymore, but I can't forget about it

    needs olives and sausage but thats not an unacceptable amount of garlic aside from not leaving much room for the other toppings unless you put the garlic under the cheese

    One time I ate an entire bulb of roasted garlic.

      Do you think it was a reaction to the type of sugars in garlic? Some people have trouble digesting them. If you cook garlic whole it stays pretty mild, so if it still had a bite to it then it wasn't fully cooked and that's why it happened.

        I never had issues with eating garlic until I went overboard with eating that much.
        I also ate it straight out the bulb, I didn't even do anything like spread it on toast.
        I do the same with pickled garlic but I still limit it to like 4-5 cloves.
