If you don't have time to make coffee with one of these and enjoy drinking it you have very little control over your life, which is embarrassing.

I've been using one for a very long time and the only way I could drink coffee made with one of those if it's either heavily diluted or has milk in it. I found that it's great for making iced lattes/americanos for example. If you drink moka raw you're a masochist

I drink it raw everyday and have for years now. I dont think it's that bad

It's not that bad, milk is just a luxury.

If I get one of those I'll get a milk steamer also and make Cappucinos or something

I'm not going through the effort for expressos just to have black coffee (whether straight expresso or Americano) when French Press is easier

I bought an aeropress and a drip. Aeropress tastes better so drip never gets used. I will never try anything else because I don’t care to have anything “better” than what I have now.

this thing takes barely any time to get going. are you people taking it apart to deep clean every time?

      Where are you confused?

        >It takes more time
Literally five minutes, faster than it takes to boil water for a French press
        >is more dangerous
Only if you're a moron who not only fills past the clearly marked fill line but also leaves it on high long enough for pressure to build up and explode

That rating is disingenuous considering you don't drink 8 oz or more of an espresso like people do with drip coffee.

          >Literally five minutes, faster than it takes to boil water for a French press
A normal commercial coffee pot is better and more energy efficient. Not everyone can leave their windows open all day.
          >Only if you're a moron who not only fills past the clearly marked fill line but also leaves it on high long enough for pressure to build up and explode
Or if someone moves a piece while filling the water.
morons and non-autists exist everywhere. One day one will walk into your appartment and not know how your your tin pot works. You can train them, or use a normal coffee pot.
          >Has more caffeine than any method save an actual espresso maker
Numbers. Drink more coffee or not. You know the difference between beer and whiskey? Water content.
Don't be a pedantic moron and talk about alcohol flavour. I will be disappointed in you.
          >according to science.
Please tell me that you are making a joke. Pretending to be moronic still means that you were moronic.

a moka pot coffee is so quick and easy, I have no idea how anyone could have issue with it. Compare it with making an instant coffee:

              >boil water
              >pour water
              >put instant coffee in
              >mix

              vs.

              >boil water
              >pour water
              >put ground coffee in
              >twist together with top
              >put on burner
              >take off burner and pour

literally a couple of extra steps

Tell me about your experience making coffee without a moral pot and provide images for reference.

I used to drink out of a moka pot but I literally couldn't stand the amount of caffeine it gave me, I also wasn't a big fan of how many fines got through the filter. I switched over to espresso and it's a lot better: similar flavour but stronger, less caffeine, easier to clean and almost no sediment. The only thing the moka has going for it is a significantly lower entry price since the pots are cheap to manufacture and you can use most pre-ground coffees with them so no need for a grinder.
