Subway will soon be the next Quiznos. Supermarkets make far better sandwiches.

Didn't they almost go the way of Quiznos because franchises couldn't make any money off the $5 foot longs?

they were really unreasonable to the franchise owners, when they started doing breakfast for example they just dropped it on them with like a weeks notice
you're open at 7am now and have these new items to sell

I can't believe Wendys started selling breakfast sandwiches. They could have been the only restaurant serving cheeseburgers at 9am.

              Based hypercapitalists.

not only that but they encourage predatory strategies and if your business fails they allow the nearest subway owner to buy your failing franchise for a discount. which encourages competing subways to actively sabotage each other.

subway was always nostalgic for me because it was one of the main places I'd go with my friends in school, but they've changed the ingredients since then so it doesn't even hit that spot anymore

I'm a little bawd for subway, their sandwiches are objectively shit and overpriced but I just love me a sloppy orange cheddar turkey 12-inch double toasted with everything except for jalapenos, pickles and olives with sub sauce, sriracha sauce and chipotle mayo

Although I wish nothing but a painful death upon anyone who not only eats Subway but has it delivered to their house

You're conflating different things anon. Food delivery during the muppendic was arguably essential for some, at times, but it never meant anyone has to eat subwhey or anything else. Who cares man, move on.

              >Food delivery during the muppendic was arguably essential for some, at times, but it never meant anyone has to eat subwhey or anything else.
Missing the point, aren't you? What happens when the government tells you it's unsafe and dubiously illegal to leave your house but they make exceptions only for lobbying corporations to sell you their products?
And they'll do it again because the type of mediocre drones who eat Subway don't ask questions about it.
I won't rest until Subway is dead and its existence eradicated from memory. It's a microcosm of everything that is wrong with our sick society.

Subway is literally not a player in your scenario. You've got a whole other bone to pick goodfriend.

You're wrong. Subway is the worst offender of them all. They aren't the biggest or the most politically active, but they do the most damage.
Why? Because their product isn't food, it's mediocrity. They aren't cheap, they aren't healthy. They aren't fast and their food doesn't taste good. Eating Subway is always a poor experience, even if you have no other choices it feels unnatural, it feels like you are at a low point in your life when you do it.
And the worst part is they don't even try to hide it. Look at their advertising campaigns. Do they tell you why their product is better than other chains? Do they talk about the qualities of their food? No, they literally hire celebrities and athletes to list off their sandwiches. That's all they do, they name the sandwich and a couple of the ingredients. Hey, here's a celebrity, here's food, come buy it or whatever. They did a "brand refresh" and it was literally just rearranging the ingredients and giving their sandwiches different names and numbers. And they told you this, straight up, in the ad campaign.
They know, and they know you know, and they don't care. They don't have to care because they know their clientele doesn't have the will or mental capacity to seek a brighter future, a world without Subway. It's a company going through the motions to bilk money from people going through the motions of life. Think about the people you know who eat Subway, their composite. Is this a person who is capable of independent thought? Does this composite actively analyze their environment and look to improve it? No, they do not. They eat at places like Subway because they have a vague notion that it is food and they must eat at prescribed intervals, therefore they eat Subway. That's all the thought that goes into it.
If you want a look at our bleak future, it's human mediocrities mindlessly filing in and out of Subway to get their daily six inches of sandwich. Mystery meat people eating mystery meat food.

How the frick is food delivery considered safe during the pandemic? Its not like this was Death Stranding and they only had the equipment to fight off BTs. The people delivering could have gotten covid. So people might as well have picked it up themselves if they weren't immunocompromised.
