>fried chicken is a British staple
Since when? Since you guys learned about it from us Americans? I know you guys came up with Mac and cheese. Your biscuits are different from ours as well, they're not the ones you're thinking of. They're not scones either.
Modern fried chicken is American and got back-imported to Britain, but it's a fusion dish that originated from early Scottish immigrants in America. I think he's a bit confused, since the historical Scottish fried chicken isn't really like what we eat today. Scots in Scotland hundreds of years ago originally didn't use batter until they moved to America.
A Britbong would have a Yorkshire Pudding in place of the scone, roast or mashed potatoes, another form of root vegetable instead of the mac and cheese, and some boiled greens, roasted meat instead of fried. It's the same shit, just a different butthole.
Just like women, a 6/10 in America is a 11/10 in bongland.
Pretty sure KFC is one of their most popular fast good spots over there.

I'm not confused, I'm just slightly cheekily pointing out that the meal they chose to flex on British people is actually, like, 90% British.
Fair enough. A bit of cheekiness is healthy every now and then. I'm just glad we didn't attract the undereducation "Scots aren't Brits" mongrel.
