This shit's a meme, it's practically just the regular 1x chicken. Pointless. Black bean is the best but a lot of others, corn, even the fricking carbonara is better than kimchi

This, but honestly they all taste the same with a smidge of what they are supposed to taste like even the ones with lots of cheese.
Only one that actually tastes decently different is curry but that ironically is like their weakest heat wise.

2x is what I ended up getting instead since the stores I tried didn't have the kimchi flavored one.
2x is nice for different reasons. I like getting really beat up by the spiciness and then having a cold drink afterwards. I do it with bottles of Ensure mostly to get extra easy nutrition and calories slipped in.

x1 ruins me enough even using 1/2 a packet of the sauce. I need to work my way up to it. will my digestive system ever stop being a weak b***h?

For me I can eat really spicy food fine nowadays because I have an ostomy and don't ever have to worry about taking a shit and burning my butthole. Compared to how bad shitting used to feel having spiciness on my tongue is nothing.

Just full send it. I used to think that extreme spicy food was beyond me until I decided to actually eat a full plate of Thai fried rice as hot as the guy was willing to make it for me. Something clicked after that for me and I've been fine ever since.

Only if you eat it very frequently and maintain that. I ate it 2-3 times a week or a year or so with 2x and never got indigestion. Stopped for a couple months and had it again and had diarrhea 6 hours later for hours, a week later and same thing. It's odd because I was eating spicier food in the meantime (fresh chili), I think it's something unique to the sauce or food additives

You can buy ramen bricks for very cheap and just add anothing brick into the boiling water, so that way the packet is a perfect amout for the ramen, and you cooked more ramen.
I have the same issue as you, I can only add 1/2 packet of curry into the ramen but if I add an extra brick it makes it perfect.

Even if you'd get a seasoning packet without sodium (which would be stupid) there's still the problem of the flash fried noodles.

I don't like real kimche. I like Buldak's kimche flavored spicy noodles. The two are pretty different products. I taught ESL in Kores back in the 2000s and never really liked all the kimche they had at every meal. The KFC at the airport was really good in contrast. Would recommend that if you're going to SK.

Indomie Mi Goreng is the mainstream noodle product that comes to mind for me when it comes to being low(er) sodium. A pack of the original kind has 36% of your sodium RDA which is around half of what's in a pack of Maruchan instant noodles.

Buldak noodles are slimy so it irks me that they're replacing nongshim in normal grocery stores, have to go to the azn store

These used to be at costco, if you skip the included soy sauce packet and put something else on it's only the salt in the dough

        >slimy
That's why you ignore the directions to retain some of the water while draining, then pan fry in butter until a bit browned. No longer slimy.

Somewhere in the middle usually. Not anything crazy but not exactly shit tier like kimchi or habenero lime. Those were the only two Buldak I ever had I had to give away the rest of my 5 packs for. Even Ketchup tasted better than Kimchi

Where does stew go? My favs are stew and carbonara depending on my mood. I think they're all kinda shitty compared to this white curry noodle I get tho. The flavor is entirely natural tasting.

Stew is SS tier and consistently the only flavor I like more and rank higher than Original/Curry/Cabonara
I could eat a few days straight of the others and be pretty okay but I could consistently hypothetically go weeks with daily Stew flavor and enjoy it

you're really going to trust the main demographic market of Soylent, Huel, and Hello Fresh on what tastes good or not?

          Anonymous

I trust Reddit more than Tiktok. Tiktok is mostly zoomers dancing. Reddit is a general collection of pretty much every topic.
Also Soylent was a good idea, just poor execution. There should be more simple foods and drinks that cover all your nutrition so you don't have to keep coming up with ideas for what to eat every day. Closest thing we have to a human version of dog food right now is just eating breakfast cereal like Chex alongside a nutrition shake like Ensure.

Basically this. The "kimchi" flavor is borderline nonexistent but this means that it's pretty much just regular 1x since it uses the same sauce and swaps the dry packet out for something indistinguishable

Opinions on creamy carbonara vs carbonara? I'm looking at getting some but can't decide between the two. Or is there not much major difference.

Not really a major difference and imo original carbonara is better. Creamy is a little lighter and thicker, also the noodles have a slight milky/cream taste (they are slightly lighter too). They are pretty interchangeable

I'm male and if anything it's men who eat instant noodles more than women, not vice versa. It's a classic low effort bachelor food. Even Walt from Breaking Bad showed with his gift to that old business partner that the two of them used to live off it back when they were young.

Or maybe it's a really common food lots of people eat, especially people who use Culinaly.
That theory probably makes more sense than someone from Samyang trying to market to a low traffic social media website where most everyone posts as "Anonymous" instead of a trackable account making it impossible to prove your unregistered campaign you refused to pay [whatever pocket change Culinaly charges on advertising] for was the reason sales went up afterwards.

What would be bad about cheese and ramen?
noodles -aka pasta - harmonizes extremely well with cheese. and if it's a hotter sauce the fat in cheese dampens the impact, creating a still hot experice but one that does not linger.
      It should fit very well.

That's not true. I know because I never use that packet with the bits of dried vegetable crap that come with instant noodles. All I use is the sauce packet and its flavor is completely different from regular Buldak's sauce packet.

Paying a lot of money for noodles ruins the entire point of noodles.
