Community Supported Agriculture. Basically you pay an annual fee to get random vegetables delivered to you during the harvest season. Picrel is an example of weekly deliveries. I'm pondering whether to sign up or not.

What these companies don't tell you is that they have contracts with proper businesses (restaurants and small factories). Those get to pick, choose and order before you get anything. What you get are leftovers and refused deliveries and you pay premium prices for them. It's a terrible idea unless you have insider knowledge.

that's the case for all delivery services. same with ordering groceries online

Why? What're you going to do with a bunch of random vegetables?
What a fricking moronic idea, just go to a farmer's market and buy what you need.

Hopefully you'll put more veggies in each delivery because the ones in the pic aren't even enough to feed one person for a week, let alone a whole family.

Not sure how useful a chaotic random assortment of produce would be for me. Some cases there’s way too much of something, some cases there’s not enough to be useful.

You may find their reasons disagreeable, but they did have a right to secede from the Union and the Federal government should have acknowledged it.

The only legal basis we had in not recognizing the Southern secession was because they combined state militias into a national militia...after they seceeded
      Makes no sense
We also freed the slaves...in the South, not the North
I mean, I'm an abolitionist but the way Lincoln handled it was completely illegal and fricked up

Do you think Lincoln should've rounded them up, stuffed them into shipping containers, and then sent them to Liberia?
Go put on your tinfoil hat and take your meds schizo, so we won't have to read your crazy rants. Maybe destroy some KKK statues while you are at it. We have a reputation to maintain.

We put them in concentration camps, the same way the Nazis put their israelites in "concentration" camps.

When I lived in Atlanta a bunch of my neighbors in the condo building I lived in subscribed to a CSA that turned out to be a fraud. The guy signed up urbanites in a bunch of condos in the middle of the city and filled their boxes with whatever he got for a good deal at the state farmers market down by the airport. Dude didn't have his own farm or even his own yard, he was just another condo dweller doing random produce shopping.

You just end up with a box of odd shit you can’t do much with. Oh great, five heads of kale, a rutabaga, eight turnips, three bunches of radishes. It’s always a stupid grab box. Just go to a farmers market if you want decent produce.
