So I was just thinking about how foreign countries don't typically grow corn, and started wondering. I remember seeing Slavs post pictures of the American section of their grocery stores and there's always a metric frick ton of popcorn. I guess slavs don't have corn, so it's considered exotic?
Anyway, I started wondering about what's considered exotic in other countries.
Tl;dr where you from and what's the weirdest thing you've seen?
Pic unrelated, just need an image to post. Cheddar jalapeno sausages with sauerkraut, garlic, dill, and some beer with a squirt of horseradish mustard.

damn dude I could doxx you just from such a low population

Which brings the question, why would you doxx someone from such a small population?

Chillaxe man, I'm not gonna doxx you. I literally cannot care anymore, I left my shady shit behind when I was in my early 20s. Your homeland just reminded me of it.

Pic unrelated but at least it's cooking related. After shift from the kitchen, I tend to get pretty lazy when I cook for myself.

I studied in the UK and I must admit that going back to the small community after being in a place that almost has more people in a square km than in my whole country is weird. I don't know which I prefer. Being able to eat and drink outside of my abode at any minute of the day is pretty good. Your steak looks good if I'm honest, there's nothing wrong with some bought ingredients, as long as they aren't shit.

Thanks for the genuine (you), Anon!
Yeah, I imagine it'd feel weird moving to a high populated place like that. I myself am born and raised in Washington State around the SeaTac(Seattle/Tacoma) area and now live in a small town in South Carolina. Lots of culter shock that I had to get used to, especially with the sland & dialect down here. For example, people in the south will say "bless your heart" but they mean it as a derogatory sorta thing. I first thought it was a friendly praise but a waitress taught me otherwise.
Anyway, when it comes to food, we tend to eat a lot of pork and catfish down here compared to how I used to eat mostly beef and salmon back in Washington.

Gotta say though, catfish is absolutely delicious. I truly feel sorrow for those that don't have catfish.

Washington state has always interested me more than California, I don't know why, maybe the mystery of grunge (mystery for us folk). My islands have a lot of fish, we're quite lucky, but have always heard about catfish and have wanted to try it. I actually don't like seafood much. We import a lot of our food, but there's nothing like that. There is cattle here, but they're used for dairy. The thing that I find ironic about this place is that there are more sheep than people on the islands, but all of our fricking lamb is imported! What the frick.

If you're interested in tourism, Washington is the best place to go, frick Cali. I hated it there, the worst state I've lived in. Western Washington though has a fairly similar climate to what you're familiar with, I think, and has a lot of great places to go. For example, Washington has a rainforest that far north of the equator. Those woods are ridiculously gorgeous. And the salmon? Atlantic salmon will taste like slop once you've had Pacific salmon.
I'd recommend you visit Seattle so you can see the Space Needle and Pikes Place Market. There are a lot of fantastic shops around downtown Seattle that I remember.
Also, if you like beaches, Ocean Shores is the best the state has to offer. The beach itself is super flat and shallow, so the tide stretches for, like, half a mile or so. Lots of Irish culture around there as well, I have fond memories of potato soup and guiness at a pub after digging up geoducks at the beach.

It's weird, obviously I'm very out of the way and don't know a lot, but I didn't think Washington had beaches. Pretty ignorant of me. I've always wanted to go to the USA, but I've never really saved up enough. I wouldn't want to do it half hearted, if that's the phrase for it. I've been less motivated for trips since I split with my girlfriend. I got to go to Manchester, Jamaica last year as part of a sort of business trip for the company where I work, that's the closest I've got to the US. Since then I've been in my shell, it's difficult to get out of. South Carolina is quite obscure for someone like me, I don't know much apart from they apparently have good bbq

Aw man, I've been wanting to visit Jamaica for a while, I'm a bit envious of you. Sucks to hear that your relationship didn't work out though, I sincerely hope the best for you.
But yeah, here in the Carolinas, we've got the best bbq imo. This opinion of mine makes Texans & Oklahomans seethe, but they just don't know any better.
Our mustard based bbq down here is far superior. If I remember correctly, our state dish is a bbq pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and all the fixings. Pickles, onions, mustard, all that jazz.
To die for, man, I swear. It's amazing how I've not gotten fat after living in the South for several years.
South Carolina is definitely worth visiting just for the food alone.

Thank you kindly bro. Yeah, I've heard about the different type of bbq sauce, I'm interested in that for sure. I didn't really know anything about that state but I met some girl named Aileen (don't know how she spelled it) when I was in the UK. She was annoying, but she was from there and she made it sound good. To be honest, I'd definitely be fat if I lived there and I wouldn't care! The North Atlantic can be really beautiful, but it's can also be really harsh even in summertime. I've got to start saving more than I currently am and do something. I think food is a bigger attraction to me than sights now I'm getting a bit older. I'd rather travel for food. Jamaica is good, Manchester is in the hills / mountains, it's a little bit cooler there and Mandeville is really cool, it's chilled (everybody thinks the whole of Jamaica is, I suppose because of weed but a lot of it is either strict because of the religion or ghetto which is fricking scary at times). I Iiked a lot of the food but there was also a lot that was well below par

        Where are you from?
        What do you eat?
What's the strangest food you've seen?

Because you mostly process it into various things like bioplastic, alcohol and syrup. We mostly either eat our corn as corn or feed it to livestock.

I dunno dude, sounds to me like you're the moron here. Ban evading is so easy even a literal moron could do it.you can spoof your IP just with cmd and a reboot, don't even need Cain & able anymore.
Hell, it's even easier when phone posting like I am now, all you have to do is just toggle airplane mode on and off and you're golden.
If you're banned from making threads, this just tells all of us that you're one of those third world shitposters that the mods rangeban for a reason.

Anyway, just tell us where you're from and what you eat already, fricker.

I was under the impression that corn is more or less an American thing. Like, I know other countries grow some, but they get it from us. We're THE leading exporters of corn, about a third of our country's farmlands are dedicated it to it.

What did you post to get b&? You're have to be an absolute moron to get banned here of all places. I've been here since 2007 and have never gotten banned.

Lol. Poland here, and fresh corn is seasonal, and peaking in the summer. Not a staple.

It's gotten unreasonably expensive in recent years, currently at 5.99pln/1.5usd per piece. I hesitated to buy it at half the price just a year ago.

Nah. Polish dudes are objectively hideous. Not as bad as Somali dudes, but they don't tend to be good looking. 10/10 Polish women settle for literal 5s in Poland because there's barely any other option. But then, like most Slavic ladies, they have a hard expiration date. They hit 40 and start looking like fricking Bassett hounds.

Med Slavs are immune to this curse since the men and women are both about the same level of attractiveness and the women age decently well. For example, excepting her weird eye, Kolinda Grabar ain't too bad looking for a Slav of her age.
