Tourist from Culinaly here.
Which of these taste the best grilled?
What are some God-tier seasonings I could whip up and/or buy for it?

Thigh is always the right answer.
Fits food is always total homosexual shit
Whole legs
3-joint wings
Both are god tier, I also like to get the chicken rub but I add extra stuff to it like chili powder and such.

>dad-in-law refuses to buy bolner's
literally here to let you know, anon.
those machines are fricking unsanitary.
Hasn't killed me yet
Not my problem.
You're in the wrong place bud, this is a McChicken board
for me, it's chicken thighs
You're here because you got tired of dry, shitty chicken breast.
Do this instead. Buy the bulk packs of chicken breast from Costco, Walmart.. whatever
They're big fat breasts. You can get three filets out of them. It's not hard, and it doesn't need to be perfect. You do need a sharp knife, though. Sharp knife and a cheap cutting board.
Now you got three breast filets. Smash them flat. Use a mallet, wine bottle, frying pan.. punch them, I don't give a frick. Get them good and flat. The thicker parts will need more smashing than the thin parts, obviously.
Marinade if you like. Optional, but helps. I like to use just a few tablespoons of cheap zesty italian dressing.
Hot pan, olive oil.. medium to medium high heat .
Don't flip until the meat is seared and easily releases from the pan.
Enjoy.
Brining overnight helps too if you want to eat chicken breast. It's still gonna be dry compared to dark meat.
this is the correct way to eat chicken breast
you don't have to get it 100% flat, you just need it to be an even thickness
chicken breast tastes so boring because it's typically unseasoned and unevenly cooked
that being said, chicken thigh is much better because it has more fat--fat is flavor and if you need a meal that will satiate you longer, fat will do that
Hi Noel, I remember that video.
>no oysters
Thigh is always nice.
Just use garlicpowder, paprikapowder, salt, pepper and your good to go.
Thigh by a long shot. Honestly, it doesn’t need anything more than salt and pepper. It’s so juicy and delicious by itself.
You could, of course, whip up a chicken tikka masala. Buy a pre-made gravy, some fresh parsley and naan bread. Make the raita yourself, and definitely cook some basmati rice to go with it all.
You can probably figure out the rest yourself, but here’s a great recipe for rice pilaf:
Sauté some finely chopped garlic and shallot in olive oil (in the pot where you’ll be making the rice). Add cardamom, dried clove, a cinnamon stick, whole black peppercorns, a bit of turmeric and the rice. Fry for a while. Add the boiling water and some salt. Let it cook.
Some of the fresh parsley is to be added on the sauce when it’s done.
You’ll get a really tasty meal.
Of course some mango chutney and different sorts of pickles on the side make it all taste even better.
Culinaly is a leg board.
remove the carcass and grill the whole thing flat
if you can find MDH (indian brand) spices, the tandoori mix is really good on chicken. Otherwise some salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic with lemon juice should do it. Baking >> Grilling for bird imo.
I think chicken breast gets the most improvement from grilling. It needs it.
