mac and cheese with tuna and peas is an american staple

Ngl that sounds British. In the US peas are rarely meant to be consumed. They're meant to be frozen and used as an ice pack in a pinch

Yeah but they don't have Velveeta Shells & Cheese
You can substitute browned ground beef or turkey (gross) for tuna and broccoli florets for peas (OK) but also bong's don't eat whole peas, they only eat mashed peas
In mac and cheese with tuna and peas the peas are left intact
Brits would puree them and eat green tuna pasta and call it good scran

You've never had a tuna melt? What is it with people thinking seafood and cheese should never go together?

I think it's some stupid religious thing.
I don't delve into that because it never makes any sense.

No it's ancient and non-religious because melty cheese on something on bread is universally loved

I think it's fish and cheese, for some reason it's forbidden.

Try throwing some tortilla chips or any chips really for an added crunch, also crunchy p butter

Tuna salad + Mac n cheese is good, so probably okay in a toasted sandwich. I don't see it being elevated nor taken down so that's one way to "beef" up the meal or leftovers if you don't have a lot.

it's a lot of carbs, instead of bread slices why not bread crumbs on top? you'll get the same toast flavor without overwhelming the cheese/fish

mushy shit should be in a bowl, not a sandwich. hand held food must be able to stay together the entire time without falling all over the place.

Yeah, it looks like it would be messy. Might work better wrapped in a tortilla.

There's nothing wrong with dipping a sandwich into some melty cheese, am I going to go to hell for that?

dipping is different. having cheese constantly falling off onto you penis and lap every time you took a bite would send you straight to heck though

Don't know about that - it sounds good, but it also sounds pretty messy. Maybe if a really thick crust, like from a tuna noodle casserole, held it together.

Be a lot cooler if they were British-style finger sandwiches filled with mac and cheese then battered and deep-fried

      God what have I done
