No that's someone elsr, at least I'm a different vegan. I never blurred any barcodes.

just made another vegan daiya pizza as I'm on call right now for work. I put vegan cheddar cheese and corn on it.

IDK what OP is talking about I never cheat. I made vegan nachos yesterday.

Isn't that just being plant based? Based on what? Plants? If your cheat meal has enough animal products that you could've had helpings most of the time throughout the week then you're not really doing much except jumping through a hoop to pat yourself on the back and suck your own dick and frick your own ass.

            >vegan
            >noun
            >: a strict vegetarian who consumes no food (such as meat, eggs, or dairy products) that comes from animals
You eat meat on a regular basis, meaning you don't fit the dictionary definition of a vegan you moronic homosexual.
I don't call myself your dad just because I frick your mom a lot, you shouldn't call yourself a vegan because you eat vegan food a lot.

I guess it depends on why you're vegan. If it's because you think it's healthier then I guess you can consider it a cheat meal. Cheat meal usually means something unhealthy. If you're vegan for ethical reasons then going against that isn't really a cheat meal, it's finding a way to do what everyone else does but say you're better than them because you make it complicated.

                >The cheat meal is by definition a "free" meal where we grant ourselves the right to eat foods prohibited.
                You lack b12 moron.

Nobody uses cheat meal to refer to foods that are prohibited for ethical reasons. It's pretty much always saying you're eating something unhealthy. You're just making things even more complicated now by stretching the definition and using it for something it's not used for. A cheat word. What's next? A cheat bathroom break where you shit your pants instead?

Does anybody else find pretty much every vegan to be completely insufferable? Like their cult (that's what it is) indoctrinates them to be the most joyless parrots, the most militant colossal homosexuals. Absolutely ghastly to be around.

You don't have to be vegan to dislike someone being a hypocritical virtue signaler.

I don't think many normal people (well adjusted, non borderline psychotic)
would care, at all, if someone ate vegan food most of the time then ate animal products once in a while. It takes a special kind of moronic homosexual to give one frick: a vegan.

Don't let perfect be the enemy of good. This is a perfectly acceptable practice, its better than giving up entirely at least and should be encouraged to avoid people just quitting and abandoning vegan diet altogether.

Why not, as another anon said, take the portion of meat he would have eaten on his "cheat day" and spread it out throughout the week? It would make for more varied and interesting meals with less effort and would almost certainly be healthier.

you realize there are some people who eat vegan for health and environmental reasons, it's not always because of ethical reasons

it's like people who eat meatless mondays, they just want to feel good about doing their part or whatever

Wtf does cheating mean in a vegan context? Cheating typically means betraying trust of another individual by doing something they have requested you not to do, such as looking at written information on a test of memory, or engaging in sexual relations with another individual when committed to a monogamous relationship.
Why are you vegan? Are you the type of person that has no interest in receiving calorical benefit from animals? Do you only consider plants and fungus to be organisms that produce edible food? If that's the case, then I don't understand how accidentally or intentionally ingesting animal-derived fluids or flesh would be cheating, it would just be a disgusting mistake as if you ate a piece of plastic or a rock.
I feel like someone who claims to identify with the conclusions of vegan thought wouldn't use the word "cheating" to describe eating a food prepared with meat, unless they don't actually have a vegan propensity and only claims to do so because another individual requested you to, or you have an interest in being known as a "vegan" for some unrelated social reason.
It's a very strange notion indeed. And I am not a vegan personally, I believe animals are edible and it's morally okay to kill them and consume their bodies, and I do that regularly.
