All things food and drink.
That’s rude, I made it for my mommy.
Good. Hopefully she cut you out of her will for serving that monstrosity.
very nice. what's the sauce?
>thyme (removed before blending obviously)
I don’t like or think cream is necessary in the sauce
sounds pretty good. might give it a go sometime
jizz from my loins...the leftovers that my boyfriend didn't gobble up
I like it, but is there not a concern that the potatoes would absorb the sauce and get soggy?
I mean it takes 5-10 minutes to eat bro they’re not sitting in it all day
I like to serve salmon skin down
>go through the effort of getting a nice, crispy skin
>put the skin side down so it gets soggy and you can’t see it
Beautifully done, Ignore the trolls.
Would sell for $36 minimum at a reservation based restaurant.
This is weird. It's like you understand how to build things, but not what to use to build. I mean, it's properly composed, but of the wrong ingredients.
I feel like I'm being trolled by someone who knows what they're doing.
Bretty basic stuff here m8
you have a mental illness
Clashing textures and wilted salad. I wasn't trying to criticize. I was assuming he knew a lot based on how it was plated.
I really hate the use of potatoes under there for some reason. Maybe less sauce and risotto or Israeli couscous? There has to be a better starch for texture and taste for that combo.
You’re fucking autistic
Yes that’s the goal. Crispy skin, fatty fish, crispy potato on the outside, tender in the middle, crunchy herbs, saucy sauce.
I was heavy handed on the olive oil in the herbs, I’ll give you that. Definitely not wilted though.
>just do a completely different dish
lel bless you anon
>those rapid double responses
Holy shit. Calm down buddy. It's a perfect dish. I'm sure it made your mother masturbate thinking of you. I'm sure you'd make a great line cook.
A homosexual and a retard. Truly an iconic combo.
What the fuck are you talking about?
when you put together something nice like this you gotta make your colours pop bro
so you're suggesting OP do some photo editing before uploading to this fast food forum?
dude edit your pictures the internet thanks you
I think we all enjoy food porn, and when you make a good effort to make and plate good looking food you can really make the best of it with good quality photos. For example.
>dude just badly upscale it
that part wasn't intentional
Very nice anon.
I used to make salmon in the pan but the absurd amount of rendered fat and fish smell that infested my house for a whole day after cooking it convinced me to just throw it in the oven or pressure cooker or even sous vide.
It’s not as tasty or as good looking but for me it’s good enough.
Pic related was cooked sous vide and torch flamed to finish it.
That's why you have a proper extractor fan above the stovetop, right?
Not him but most apartments or even houses for that matter don’t have that. He’s probably searing at too high a temp regardless if it’s making that much smoke
looks good bruv. are you professionally trained or self-taught?
I did it for a living for a while. It’s nice to be able to use that IRL as opposed to like having been a desk jockey or a programmer who hates programming.
Looks like you cooked it nicely. Unfortunately it's stacked so it's trash. The only thing it's missing is a steak knife stabbed in the middle holding up a tower of onion rings.
It’s dinner for mommy, not food from work
Not a fan of fish but looks good OP good job bro.
