I unironically love the Pizza Hut Express ones you get in Target

        I know, that's why I love them

real pizza hut is more of a science experiment than food. it's also 90% air because they've leavened the dough to levels that shouldn't even be possible in the name of saving 5 cents per pizza

Why do pizza autists go crazy over "airy dough" if it's so bad?

I don't know. I like dense dough and the dough is my favorite part of the pizza. I tried pizza hut a couple months ago for the first time in 10 years and was disappointed when they had virtually eliminated dough from their pizza recipe.

is it me or have these changed? they used to have the personal pan pizza at target, and it was actually kinda like what i used to have as a kid. but the one in your pic looks way bigger and also not pan-style

These used to be really good. For a while they were exactly like the book it reading program ones you got in the 90s/00s. I haven't seen them or the popcorn and hot dog or anything aside from a Starbucks in a Target for ages.

They’re okay but they’re not the real Pizza Hut.

These don't look like they used to. They were tiny pans and this looks like a tiny hand tossed.

i make them for my relatives that are picky about toppings so i don't have to try putting a bunch of different combinations onto a single big pizza

you could probably make that yourself and it'd taste a lot better. you could also buy much better frozen/fast food. never saw a reason to buy it except if it's the only form of pizza available

Honestly, pizza making from scratch is a right pain in the ass, especially the dough part. It has gotten WAY easier thanks to Ooni, but originally you had to DIY shit in the backyard to make a pizza oven. So I get why people drop $20 on $5 in ingredients.

What is easy to make at home is french bread pizza. That is some damn good pizza, not as good as regular mind you, but you get a nice pizza that frankly is great nuked or oven baked. Just take some bread, slap sauce on it, and then shredded cheese and toppings. Nuke or bake (or airfry), and boom. Pizza at home in under 5 min. Same process works for bagels (aka bagel bites).

You can get a nice pie if you turn your oven up to the highest setting. Mine goes to about 270 or so. I mean, this is the cooking board. If you don't enjoy putting a little time in, then what are you doing here???

and i dont mean "hurrdurr make your own fastfood" i mean that what makes pizza hard is the size of it, if you're just making a small chunk of dough with some cheese and tomato on it, then you don't have to actually be good at making pizza to do it easily

pizza is easy no matter the size, i discovered an easy trick where you can just mash the dough ball into shape with your fist instead of stretching it out. makes it easy to preserve the crust shape as well if you don't mash the edges

They're too expensive considering you need 10-12 of them.
I'd rather just get an X-tra large, a side of breadsticks, and a 2liter of coke.

no fricking thanks grocery store frozen pizza tastes way better and is way cheaper. no fast food pizza should cost more than $15, even dominos is $30+ its fricking stupid.

I always feel guilty eating an entire pizza, even if it's just a tiny one. Seems like too much cheese to have at once.

I like em. I don't need to frick about with a massive cardboard box that won't fit in the trash can. I get a lunch-sized pizza portion. I don't have to frick about with leftovers, both fridging it, forgetting it at work, and worrying about coworker theft. Plus the freezer ones are perfect little snack meals when I am lazing about on the weekend and don't want to eat heavy.

I get doing the whole leftover pizza thing from a big pie, because I'll do that occasionally. But it's nice to do a personal pie for lunch then top it off with a salad for dinner.

They are perfect for me. I live alone, so if I ever order a whole pizza, I have annoying leftovers for days afterward. This solves that.

Personal pies are never ever as good as full size pies.I don’t know why it doesn’t scale down, but personal pies always have some flaw. Thinking about it, pizza doesn’t scale up either, those giant party pizzas are never good.
