What do I do with this

Forgot I had ribeye steaks in the freezer until a day or two ago when I started thawing them. I completely forget what I was going to do with them but I need to use them or they'll go to waste. I've got a one year old who doesn't like chewing but also can't eat rare meat yet.
Am I screwed or is there something I can make with these?

They make really good meat for beef stew, tacos, stirfry, etc. You don't have to just cook it medium rare, ribeye can be used like any ol' cut of beef.

May try to cut them thin and do tacos or stir fry. I've got the necessary veggies for both. Thanks for the idea!

One year old can't just eat steak, I said that in the post.

No, you said he can't have rare meat yet, moron. Give him a fricking bottle or your wife's tit or something. I hope he doesn't grow up to be as moronic as you, but that seems unlikely.

Yes. Steak implies rare because if you cook steak well it's fricking inedible. I don't have to hope for anything because he's already less moronic than you. Either contribute or shut the frick up.

You're the moron because you don't understand that steak can only be cooked rare. moron.

that's not true, it depends on the cut

My mom used to put whatever food she was eating for dinner into a blender for me as a baby and give it to me.

Well he's past purees, he can eat most things but chewy meat can be difficult since he only has like 4 molars right now. Good idea though

My 11th month old girl with 4 teeth fricking loves when I cook steak. Just cut the pieces to be small.

This. I put small pieces of whatever I cook in front of my 10 month old son and he eats whatever he wants. OP, cut your cooked, freezer-burned steaks really thin and your kid can eat them.

Is it worth it to go for prime over choice?

Depends entirely on the specific piece and the prices of both. Most of the time, no. You just missed the chance to get a lot of sales on rib roasts and cut them up into steaks.

depends on how it looks, some choice steaks are better marbled than prime. some prime steaks are so well marbled and so unique that they really deserve a grade of its own but it's capped at prime; a prime ribeye can be $50 or $150 but they're both rated the same.
