I don't like eating while I'm sick, but this post brings back nostalgia from when I was a kid.
A mug of broth never hurts either.

    Frozen pizzas

    >greasy enough to taste like something
    >only requires you to heat oven to make
    >doesn't create lots of dishes
    >cheap and always available without needing to go to a store because I always have few in freezer for cases like this

Make sure you're getting enough sodium, it's easy to get dehydrated when you're ill, so drink sports drinks, broth with soy sauce, and mix baking soda in water and drink that
Your body will recover faster if it's slightly alkali
Take NAC, D3+K2, eat some liver, get lots of vitamin C, take a B-complex with biotin, if you're congested, take cetirizine

Salted and cured meats, pickles, aged cheddar and blue cheese, goose liver pate, homemade orange marmalade on toast, rye whiskey with a touch of boiling water and honey to sip, hot tea with mint to finish, later in the day I indulge in some smoked salmon, crackers with the remainder of the goose liver pate, apples, another mug of hot tea with mint, and a small glass of bourbon with a healthy amount of bitters to settle mine stomach. If I feel peckish again, I have a piece of smoked sausage with mustard, a bit of sauerkraut, a glass of scotch, and for dessert a few strawberries.

BRAT diet, which is what doctors recommend. Healthiest diet in general. Banana, toast, apple, rice. Sometimes tea.

    Hangover: grease and salt
    Anything else: raw garlic

What the heck would I be sick from in the first place except maybe from a hangover then I don't want to eat anything. Maybe drink some gatorade or electrolyte solution like pedialyte.

I honestly don't change my diet at all when I'm sick. Maybe I lean more into comfort foods and junk food, but I don't start slurping up a ton of soups or something. That's a meme unless you're severely dehydrated and need extra fluids.

      >wow you know what my immune system needs to help it succeed in killing an infection? JUNK FOOD! This will surely give me the proper nutritional fuel to help my body function at its best

How do people get this moronic

Triple shot of Mack Swayzes, shotgun a beer, 'icken nude spoop, 'inger'ale, ColdFX and a flinstones vitamen. Even if I have cancer, that routine cures it and makes me feel totally fine within hours.

Hot cups of coffee. Feels nice on my throat and the caffeine dilates the capillaries if you have a headache

If vomiting, priority one is oral rehydration solution (I make it myself if not too sick, otherwise I call someone and ask them to pick me up some unflavored Pedialyte)
Fresh mint tisane is good for mild nausea
Shredded ginger tisane with honey and lemon is the best beverage for a sore throat

The only thing I can reliably force myself to eat when I'm sick is bananas. A few months back I got a bad case of the wu flu that had me bedridden for almost two weeks and I'm pretty sure I ate at least 50 bananas in that time.

Greasy, sugary Americanized Asian food. Generals Tso's or some Korean beef and some spring rolls.
