Except for the originals and the 1950-62 one they're all ugly and retarded. I can't wait until AI replaces these fucking dumbass graphics designers and they can't shill their stupid fucking logo changes anymore

Going from the 40s logo backward is like watching someone develop a degenerative nerve disease.

The box packaging is where the new branding really shines, Pepsi and Prime both really stand out from everything else on the shelf. The old packaging looks embarrassingly empty when you put them side by side

What is it about the 1970s that logos started looking good?
It feels like no one had a clue what they were doing prior.

That's when they started hiring actual designers without them running the show yet.

The 70's renaissance in graphic design must have been related to all the pot smokers turning around and getting real jobs

agreed, even though I would've been too young to remember it so I don't even think it's for nostalgic reasons. It's just objectively the best one, the font flows better with the curved logo instead of the contrasting block letters, along with the usage of lighter blue on the right field.

    it's excellent
glad they went back to the classic disc with even proportions and "PEPSI" in all caps rather than "pepsi" which implied a sense of blasé
    and underwhelm
the last logo was an example of terrible design and terrible marketing

Why is every brand using their old logos like that ? Not that I'm complaining, shits comfy

I think it's an unconcious cultural realisation that at some point in the last 40 years we fucked up hard, and rather than trying to fix it it's easier to just say 'fuck it, start over' and wind the clock backwards.

I'm not gonna complain, I love 70's graphic design. Beats the fuck out of modern minimalist bullshit and bauhaus crap. Give me striking but earthy colours, give me patterns, give me big serif fonts! Give the world some semblance of soul and personality and individuality rather than all this fucking minimalist garbage we've had for most of the last decade.

i think they should stop wasting money on logos and ads and just buy 25 years worth of cans, lables, and surgars now so they can keep prices low and people wont stop drinking and they wont go out of business
