    You are asking what we think...so here goes.

    The steak is too thin. This cut needs a bit more thickness to it so that you can properly brown it and its sides where the fat is still raw and yet still retain the degree of rare that you most prefer. Personally, I like ribeye more well, so that the ribbons of fat have time to melt. A thin steak such as this one I'd actually pass over and go with ny strip instead. Ribeye is a perfect delicious steak, but needs to be paper thin for philly cheesesteaks, or pounded for a cuban steak sandwich, deglazed with mojo, or sliced thicker. The store was trying to slice it for the dollar amount on the package not to scare you. Occasionally, I'll buy this for grilling because yes I don't mind the fat for korean grilling purposes.

    Never slice an entire steak into bites like this, unless you are 5. Pick up your knife and fork for every bite you cut off. It's good etiquette, and keeps your food both hotter and juicier.

    That steak is too thin to be eaten as a rare steak, that shit is for chicken fried steak or sandwiches. You can't sear long enough for a nice crust cause it overcooks, can't render the fat cause it overcooks, and while it reaches temps, you have to remove it immediately. No energy actually went through that steak, it's barely even seared. It's gonna turn cold right away once you take off the heat source. You're left with a chewy fricking mess you're not gonna enjoy without lying to yourself.
